anyone coming from california going to road trip

hey catheites-
is anyone coming from california going on the road trip? i will be coming from pleasanton and wondered if anyone else is making the long trip. I can't wait!

Wow - that IS a long trip. You are a serious Catheite to be coming from so far. You may be the farthest-away person coming on the road trip (anyone else coming from farther than CA?). The flight over is going to be killer - when you land in PA it will be like 10 hours later (or more!) than when you left because of the time changes. I remember when we moved from California to Virginia (literally, coast to coast) - we broke the flight into 2 segments. Flew to Dallas on the first day, then flew the rest of the way on the 2nd day. I just remember being exhausted for like a week. (I don't travel out of my own time zone very well! LOL!)

No I grew up in P-town tho and was just in Dublin having dinner with my mom.

oh goodie, i am so glad that i am not the only one traveling across the united states. i will definitely be leaving from oakland, but have not checked the prices yet. i can't believe how cathe has influenced the whole country with her video tapes...what a great thing. i love her! anyway, i can't wait to meet my fellow californian and also the rest of the cathe fans

I am and I live in San Diego. There's a nonstop flight on US Airways between San Diego and Philly. There was someone who flew from Alaska on the 2000 road trip. Now, that's a long trip!
