Yes, Janice! I have been to Phoenix twice this month and the drive is really not so bad. I am now fantasizing about driving up the night before, getting a room and escaping my children. 
We could go to dinner and then head out early the next morning for a hike. We will have to plan it for when it cools down. The evening we drove up to get Ali from Sky Harbor, you Phoenix Arizonans topped out at 114. Ouch! I hope the monsoon comes soon.
I know how you feel about battling depression and I can only say that an anti-depressant once gave me back my life. So hold on and know that it just takes time and you'll realize one day that you are you again and everything else will follow. You sound as if your mindset is changing. Give yourself time and the permission not to force anything until you are ready. It will come and we will be here whether you are exercising or not exercising. These forums are as much about companionship and the lovely friendships I value more than I can say, as they are about working out anyway. What a gift and a blessing and you, my dear, are part of that and, I hope, always will be.
