We Never miss a night!:) My fave from the very beginning is David Brown.:7 I also like Mario a lot....and Travis and Anwar are also really good.
I just love that show!!;-)
 
I think my DH watches it pretty regularly but I don't. I just always end up doing something else at that time of night it seems. I did, however make a point of watching a lot of the try outs cause I think they are funny. When it gets towards the end I will probably start watching it again to see who wins...

OH yeah! It's going to be tough to pick from this batch of guys, they're all good. Anwar is my favorite. Besides having an awesome voice, he's very soft spoken and seems like a genuinely nice guy. Plus he is just really hot.

I like Mario, the David Brown and Anthony Federov. He's a little dull, but he's got a great voice.

Heck, I like them all and can't really say anything negative about any of them. Too much Stevie Wonder in the song choices though. I totally dug Anwar's choice of Moonriver. That took cajones!


From the girls, without seeing them tonight, I like Mikalah Gordon because she has such a fun personality (can anyone say Fran Drescher?) and a great voice. And also Carrie Underwood (sweet farm girl). But they're also all good.

I've got to order my flat rate on text messaging!
 
Those are the two girls I like also.
Oh yeah the tryouts are a total hoot. Remember that Mary Roach..she was so bad and then talking to herself on the way out from the judges like she was 3 different people. Psycho!!!

I am an American Idol watcher, but I have never voted. I like the rock and roll guy Bo, Anwar, and the last guy, but I don't remember his name.

I liked the guy who sang "give me the beat boys". I watched some of the tryouts and then last night. Sorry, I couldnt tell you anyones name. Do you guys text message your votes?

I kind of half-watch, but listen, so I don't get all the names!
I like the music teacher (and what a hottie!), and the second rock guy who sang.

There's one guy with a great voice, but he gives me the creeps (the heavy guy). The look on his face makes him look like a sociopath or a serial killer (though most serial killers don't look creepy).

I know who you're talking about. I'm kind of rooting for that guy though. From the earlier episodes, he said his dad always told him he'd never amount to anything. He'd always tell him he can't sing and he's never going anywhere and he's worthless. He's trying to prove his dad wrong. I hope he goes far. :)
 
Here at work, we always laugh about the guy who sang "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". The radio station I listen to plays that song every now and then, so I get a good chuckle.

I do text message my votes. It's the only way to go. But...you have to have Cingular.

BTW - I only know their names 'cuz I looked 'em up on the website as I was posting. I'm not THAT much of a geek where I'd really know their names.:) Just Anwar, because he's just so smokin' hot.
 
What really stood out to me, especially at the end when they showed snippets of all 12 performances, was that all 12 of these guys have fantastic voices. I'd buy an album put out by any of them - not a dud in the bunch. That's something that's never happened before! I didn't even vote (for the first time since AI began) because I don't want any of them to go home.
 
We watch every show. I am amazed at how great ALL of them were last night. Melrose, I agree, when they played the "snippets" at the end, they all sounded incredible. I agree with you Dani...I hope the kid who's Dad said that, has proved to his Dad he is NOT worthless. My heart went out to him. I think Anthony Federov is a doll baby and reminds me of Clay Aiken when he sings, so I might be a bit partial to him since I loved Clay. It is going to be a tough call on which two will go on Wednesday night. Can't wait to see the girls tonight. The farm girl is a real cutie-pie. I also agree, "Fran Drescher" is a hoot! Can't wait!

I wanted to vote last night so badly, but didn't write down the stupid number. I was thinking you could vote online, but i guess not.
I am so afraid David will be out...(i just want him to win so badly) He is soooo talented, but really didn't show it off at his last performance last night. :( He is such a wonderful singer, really nice to look at, and he's a christian.. which makes me feel more of a connection with him.:D I guess if he doesn't get it, I would want Mario to win.
 
"fran drescher" is Mikayla(unsure of spelling) She is good and very confident. Also in her favor is an obvious Huge amount of enthusiasm and energy, which would make her great on stage.;-)
