Another Vote for Body Max 2

I got my DVD's yesterday, previewed BM2, and tonight I did it. Well, I only did 45 minutes of it, but I just laughed and laughed because it was so much fun!!! It was like a little party up in here!

The music is outstanding and very motivating! The choreography was easy to pick up, too (now, don't take that to mean that it's "boring" or "easy", because that's not what I'm saying). It is a challenging workout, but what I found was that this is one of those workouts that you could modify to make really low intensity, or take it up a couple of levels to high intensity. I'm a big "modifier" because I just can't do the super-high intensity non-stop like Cathe can, and I found that when I started to get winded, I was able to continue the workout and just take everything down without compromising the moves. After a few minutes of "active recovery", I was able to kick it right back in to the higher levels. Either way was a smooth transition.

So, I might have found a new favorite workout! I just loved this one! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Ugh you're killing me here. I so badly want to do BM2 but I have to rest today because I did LIC last night. I previewed BM2 and it does look like so much fun!

Question: did you use an 8 inch or 6 inch step? I'm thinking I'll use the 6 inch step first just to get used to the moves.

I previewed the entire DVD today and plan to do it this evening.

I am going to use a 6 in step -- at least until I master the moves.

Some of the Blasts in the circuit part are very much like IMAX 3 and I had real difficulty with that particular video.

All in all, it looks like a great workout, though!

Just to let you know. The blasts in the circuits -- the first two are more like IMAX 2; the second two are more like IMAX 3. This was a great workout. The choreography is not hard to pick up and the music is great.

I'm killing myself here. I did BM2 todaym LIC yesterday and Drill MAx the day before! I'm SOOOO taking a rest day before tackling Butts and Guts on Sunday! Legs are slightly rubberized!:p :p

BM2 is one of the most fun workouts I've done! The music pumps you up and Cathe really enciourages you to keep working....Even when you think you are done!

I did use the 8 inch step. The moves are intense but simple to follow. If you usually use 8" I say go for it. You can always take it down to 6 if you need to. As Cathe says, "Work work!" (Shes says it often in BM2!)}(
