Kathryn,
Well, Sweetheart, now it is your turn to get some comforting words from your friends here. It is always so awful to lose a loved one, human or not. Our animals tug at our hearts just like our children do. I'm sorry for your loss.
You have helped so many people here on the forums with their past loved ones, and I think I can speak for many of us that we would like to help you with yours.
Just by writing about it I'm sure helped, but that void is there to haunt, and I know how that feels. Only time will take care of that one.
You have wonderful memories of Scooter and from what I understand or feel, Scooter is with you now, just can't see him.
Continue to have wonderful memories, cry, be in bad moods, what ever it takes for the grieving process. I know your strong, but our past loved ones loss can be so awful, plain and simple.
I'm thinking positive thoughts yours and Scooters way. Take care of each others spirits.
Janie
The idea is to die young as late as possible.
