Another gloating moment......

Don't ya just love it when all of your hard efforts pay off? Well, this lady walked in to work yesterday and needed her hair cut.I proceded to do it and while I was sort of bent over and had one of my arms sort of turned to the side, she says "do you work out"?
Even though it is nice for people to notice,I sort of get embrassed at the same time:-shy.So,I didn't lift my head up when she said this but I said "yep"
She said" yeah I can tell my your arms" Mean while my arms were covered up with a long sleeve shirt but it was sort of a tight shirt. Then that was it.I didn't know what else to say.It is like an embrassing moment for me but at the sametime I am beaming with joy.
After she said this I was thinking to myself, I can't wait to tell everyone on the Cathe site. And you guys are the only ones I told this to! Aren't you special:7
But I am a little tired today. We went out last night and I didn't get to bed until 1:00 and I have to get up and do aerobics before work b/c if I don't I will ended up throwing Donnas rotation right out the window.I have to follow it right to a T or I am useless. My biceps are really sore from yesterday though.
Sorry for going on and on.
Everyone have a great new years! We made it through another year.

Hi Lori

Don't apologise for feeling good about yourself, your results or for sharing with us! It's always such a lovely feeling to get a compliment like that from someone isn't it? People these days seem to spend more time pointing out our shortcomings rather than complimenting us on our achievements - so lap it up girl! You've worked hard for those arms!
Have a great New Year!

Good for you Lori!!!

My husband notices arm muscles on me the other day! He is in the police academy right now and is enjoying some healthful exercise. One of his classmates there has been bragging about his arm muscles since starting the endless academy pushups. My husband came home the other night and told me that this particular proud classmate was going around the other day, showing of his biceps and triceps and exclaiming "Come buy some tickets to the gun show!!". I mean, can you believe this?? He was joking of course, but what a typical guy thing!!! I laughed so hard. So, when my DH noticed my arms I of course had to say, "Yeah, you better buy some tickets to the gunshow!!"

SO, that is what you should say next time!!! HA HA HA!!!

Lori,

That is brilliant to get comments like that - feel very proud of yourself, don't ever feel embarrassed. A lovely way to end the year :D

Anna :)
