another form question

Cathe,
Thank you so much for the answer on proper form for squats. Now I have another question on form. I was wondering how to safely execute plyo jumps. Is it okay for your knees to go over your toes for those or not? I have a difficult time getting low enough without my knees shooting out. I know you have to put your weight in your heels and soften your knees when you land but...

By the way, I just ordered 6 of your videos - you are amazing - I am at my goal weight and size but I have a feeling you are going to seriously improve my fitness level!

Hi! You want to try to keep your knees from going past your toes as best as you can, but at the same time this move should feel natural to you. If the way you are currently doing them is not presenting any discomfort to your knees, you are probably okay. Another thing that I encourage people to do to protect their knees/joints while they are doing plyo jacks is to contract their leg muscles on the landing to soften the impact on the floor. Good Luck!
