Annoying Hip Fat/Saddlebags??

Does anyone have excess hip fat?? I think they have been reffered to as saddlebags too. I have this extra fat about a couple inches that stick out on each side of my hips. I have all of Cathe's DVD's and need a suggestion on which one triggers this area the best. I eat pretty clean and do about 4 days of cardio and 3 days of weight training. I usually don't exceed 75 min. in my workouts daily. I do have a rest day too. Any suggestions would be great!!

I completely lost my saddlebags by doing Firm tapes, which contain lots of squats and lunges, three times a week. In the past year I've slacked off and they're coming back. So I would recommend lots of lower body work ala Freestyle, but I don't think it's necessary to do it every single day. Three times a week with cardio in between is enough.

All of Cathe's lower body workouts are great for this purpose, with the possible exception of Slow and Heavy. The new Legs and Glutes workout is terrific.

You could try Callanetics. There are specific hip/bottom exercises that really tighten up the right places (it's best if you do the whole program though). The exercises are a little strange, and I wouldn't have believed that they could work, but somehow they do. Even if the amount of fat there stays the same, Callanetics really lifts and shapes the hips and bottom (without bulking the legs as I have found with squats and lunges). It also did wonders for my thighs - again more than weights have ever done.
