Ankle swelling...can anyone give advice?

I have some ankle swelling on my right leg that goes about half way up my calf. There is no pain, no injury that I can think of. Had an ultra sound to check veins, they are good and no clots...I never swell, even with injury. Not sure what to do or where to turn to next. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance! Kay

Id go to doctor. To rule out heart condition...if you didn't twist ankle

Not saying that's it. Just saying u need to be sure.

It could be a lot of things but serious things need to be ruled out. Could even be as little as a salt issue. Safe then sorry.

Have they done blood work to check for gout? I know that's perceived as an old person's problem, but my husband is a runner and very healthy, but has been dealing with gout since his 20s. It comes and goes. Just a thought since the swelling sounds very familiar to his.
