Actually not necessarily 60 - depending on the coat (full-length) try 300!!! For no reason other than to satisfy human vanity. pathetic

When I was young (high school) I thought fur looked great, until I actually felt a rabbit fur coat. I dropped it in horror. I have no idea what I expected, but feeling that fur brought it home to me how barbaric this really is.

Thank you JennieR. I have signed so many petitions over the last week it isn't funny. It looks like PETA and AnimalSaviors (out of Australia) are the two major organizations trying to stop these barbarians from torturing these animals. I even donated my car (that I was going to use as a trade in) to PETA to go towards helping these animals.

Hi everyone, I've just signed the petition also but I'm afraid to say that I'm not overly optimistic either. All of this is extremely distressing and if I didn't do my little bit to try and stop it I would never forgive myself.
Sometimes the things that go on in this world are heartbreaking.

I feel the same way. But like you I just wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't try to help put a stop to this. The fact that human beings would purposely put millions of animals through this kind of fear, pain and torture is beyond me.
