An oustanding core workout

I definitely wouldn't go heavier than 9 pounds with the body bar. I first tried a 12 pound barbell and it bothered my lower back some. (Plus it was too long; I nearly broke the light fixtures in my basement ceiling!). Going less than 9 pounds would surely give you a great workout too.

I just did this workout today and I realized that I have ZERO dread factor with this one. Every time I choose this workout I feel a little like I'm cheating because it's so much fun for me! The individual moves are good and the music is awesome, but I think the best part is Kimberly. She's just a great instructor and she makes it fun. I hope she continues to make workouts because I think I've bought everything she's put out so far, and I don't see myself stopping.:)

Carolyn, I completely agree! As intense as it is, it's so much fun I really look forward to it when it's on the agenda.

Hey, I still haven't gotten that stupid helicopter block down yet (however I have come close to punching holes in my ceiling while trying). Is it just my natural uncoordination or do you have trouble w/it too?

Laura, that one confused me for awhile too. I have another video of hers called Progressive Strength that has a short Cardio workout included. In the cardio workout, she doesn't break down the helicopter move that much and does it at twice the speed. For some reason, that helped me learn it and now I have it down. I think when I *think* about what I'm doing, that's when I mess it up. Strange huh? :)
