Okay, who were your favorites last night? I think mine was Kelly Pickler. She is sweet and cute ( and kind of dumb :)). Her voice is not the best, but I honestly was not impressed with anybody last night. I am anxious to see what Chris sings tonight!

Oh, and I think Heather has got to go...she really messed up her song.

I look for Heather and Brenna to be the next to go. Brenna is just terrible...from voice to personality. I don't know how she made it to the final 24. I like Kelly and Paris.
 
My favorites of the night were Melissa McGhee and Kellie Pickler. The thing I really like about Kellie is how she sings with so much emotion. I think she's going to be the one who really improves from week to week. I was a bit disappointed in Paris and Katharine. They were pretty boring.

The two that should go IMO are the other blond (not Kelly--her eyes looked SO SCARED when she was singing) and the woman who sang the Donna Summers song.

I wasn't blown away by many of them (what's with all the ballads and 'old'sounding songs?) But I liked the last woman (Mandisa?) and the first one.
 
Most of them kind of sucked, IMO. I missed the last chick (went to bed) which people seem to like...hmph. The southern chick was cute...the bonnie rait song girl? I'm not super in love w/ any of their voices. I guess I like McGhee a lot.

I liked Paris and Mandissa and the tall girl that is a basketball player. I think that Brenna and Heather need to go.

You know, I am very pleasantly surprised by Ayla, the basketball player! I honestly didn't think much of her in the begininning, but she really has a good voice! I agree with the criticisms that Simon gave her, too.
I liked Melissa, actually. She has a great tone!!! I would listen to her on the radio. I could see her singing "Here for the Party" more than Kinnik Sky.
I agree with everyone who said that Heather and Brenna are going. I am absolutely keeping my fingers crossed for Brenna!!!! :p

I have to say, though, that overall I was very disappointed last night. It was soooooooooo boring with a few exceptions and I was soooo disappointed in my last night's favorites. It was not a shining night for the girls, and I really hope that the guys kick it up tonight. I can't wait to see Taylor Hicks! :D He is so different, and I like him so much!

Chris was great tonight! The other ho hum...

This is the first time I've watched it this season. Is Chris usually that good?
 
Yes, Chris is always that awesome!!! Last night (and the night before), I was so disappointed. Then Chris performed.....I think everybody else should just go home right now! IMO, he is the best and will be successful even if he doesn't win. I can't wait until he is on the radio and I can buy his cd!

chris is my favorite from the auditions.He was great last night so was Bucky,Elliot and Gedeon.I love Taylor but his voice just doesn't compare to the other great singers.I like his personality but would probaly never buy his cd same with Kelly P. love her story but the voice just isn't good enough for ME to listen to.I don't want somone to win just on a story or personality they should be the best of the best.For me Chris,Elliot,medisa and Paris are the ones to beat.
 
I picked Chris from the original auditions. He is great. Last year Bo was my pick from the beginning, so I hope Chris makes it through. Elliot really surprised me. That piece he picked was extremely hard and really showed what a good musician he is.

None of the girls have a chance of beating these two, in my opinion. Maybe Mandesa and Paris can hang in for a while, but when it comes down to the end, it'll be either Chris or Elliott.

Taylor really is a favorite of mine because he's so different, but his schtick is getting a little old. What's with that "WOO" he says out of the side of his mouth after every 2 or 3 lines of song? :eek:

I thought several of the men (like the guy who looks like one of the Brady bunch) sounded like they were singing in a High School choir production. I'm sure Ace will continue on, even though his performance wasn't that great (he'd have to be pretty bad to not get enough votes, IMO!).

The " crooner" has an almost constant, almost-but-not-quite vibrato that I found annoying. He seems like a one-trick pony to me.

I'm always amazed when the two " don't look like they can sing that way" guys (the second singer? who looks like he would be working in some small gas station in a hick town) and the other ' good old boy' with bad teeth.

I think the 'cute and nerdy' guy has a bit run his course. He's not really up to snuff, IMO.

And what's with Taylor and his Joe Cocker moves? Is that just some mannerism he picked up, or does he have some neurological thing going on?

The last singer, though, was fantastic (I'm not good with names!).
 
it was Chris all the way last night...He was so good and blew everyone - girls and guys away...

I think he might take the whole thing as the closest Idol has gotten to a rocker was Bo Bice and he was more the 70s type...

Chris has the looks and the unique voice...
 
I want Chris to win this now. I've decided. There isn't one other person that I think could take it. I'd buy his album and I'd go see him in concert. He has a great heart and a great voice, and then to top it all off he's hot. His wife is a very lucky women.

Chris was definitely the best of the night last night. He's in a completely different league. I was also impressed by Will Makar (bobby brady). Ace was good eye-candy as usual. I think Kevin Covais and the crooner guy should be going home tonight.
