Amazing Step Styles/Rob Glick

Hey! I just got this DVD in the mail and spent this evening's workout learing the steps. What fun! - and not a dreary power 15 in the whole workout! Or none of my absolute favorite move (not!) - 12 sets of 16 side leg extensions (on each leg, no less).

I basically got it down, too, without too much confusion. A little bit here and there, but not undoable.

JMHO.

Rob is great, isn't he???? You should try his Step Gone Wild from Evolution, it is available from Fitness Organica, and it is even better than Amazing STep STyles, imo. I know that if you like this one you will love SGW!!!

I love this workout! It's my favorite step workout of his (and probably in my top 5 step workouts). His choreography is great and he has just enough breakdown but not too much. I like the music and I always feel like I had so much fun after doing this workout. I find him easy to follow and I like the music too.

I also love this workout, I got it from Netflix and because I tend to get frustrated with complicated step routines, I thought I would not like it. Surprise! He cues so well and builds each routine so logically that I got most of the steps the first time through, and boy did I feel coordinated :D It's also a great workout, as I recall I felt like I'd burned plenty of calories, but it was never over-the-top intense.

I had tried this one from Netflix... enjoyed it, too. But that "gutterwalk" move took me forever to get. Thought the "elvis" was a hoot!

I've looked at this but it scares me. I have his "good to go hi/lo" and its collecting dust. I asked for it and hubby got it for me for Xmas. I cannot do it. Have tried maybe 4 times, but I can't get it. I would like to try his step work outs but I'm afraid I won't get it. Nothing Cathe does messes me up, but his style is very dancy and it makes me feel like I have 17 left feet!! How does it compare to his floor workouts or Cathe, in the choreography? Not worried about the cardio intensity.

The choreography is definitely more complex than Cathe's. Cathe's choreography is definitely more athletic, but as you get the choreography of Rob Glick's workout, it does get more aerobic.

His choreography isn't insurmountable, but of course, I'm so freakin' clever, I make myself giddy...BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! :p:p:p:p:p

Rob cues much better than Cathe, so even though the choreography is more complex it doesn't seem that difficult because everything is very clearly cued in advance.

This is my favorite step workout. It's super fun and always puts me in a good mood when I do it. It has a little bit of a learning curve, but it's definitely worth mastering.:D

I think Cathe is a superior cue-er. But the two are definitely different in flavor. I much prefer Cathe's cueing. She has impeccable technique.
