Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! You all are so amazing! I had no idea anyone here knew who I was, nevermind actually cared!
My Mom came home tonight after taking some "time away" for a week. I still haven't found an apartment, although I'm still actively looking. I just wish I could wakeup and this would be over. I honestly can't believe that any of this is real.
Anway, enough of that. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your well wishes. I'm not a religious person, but for some reason, knowing that someone out there is thinking about me (and possibly praying for me) brings so many tears and an overwhelming amount of emotion.
I love you all very., very much. Another sob story of mine is that I don't currently have any friends to speak of (due to relocations, marriages, children, etc.) so to know that anyone out there, anywhere, cares is so wonderful and unbelievably emotional. Thank you all again. You all mean more to me than you'll ever know.

Honey, you just could not BE more wrong in thinking that you have no friends. I know we all "know" each other mostly from this online community, and I know that there are lots of people who will never understood the validity, sincerity and depth of the friendships that can be formed through this kind of communication. But the fact is that the friendships you make here are VERY real friendships. You've been a wonderful addition to this community, Allison, and you have MANY real, live friends here who like you, value you, look forward to your input, and would love to have a chance to give you an in-person hug, have lunch, do a little shopping or just have a gab-fest.
If you come on the next Road Trip, be prepared to be MOBBED by the Friends of Allison, who will descend upon you with way more hugs than your wee little body will be able to withstand!!!

I definitely consider you all my friends too! I understand what you mean, Allison, about not having friends. I don't have anyone! I was married young and just have my hubby and kids! So, I love coming on the forum to see such nice, caring people because other than you folks, I have no one. I am here for you Allison - PM me if you ever need anything!

Sorry to hear things have been rough. I've been having some hard times too and not been around here as often. Too bad you don't live near Philadelphia, we could hang out. I just said the other day that I needed to meet some new single friends. I have great friends but most of them are involved. Keep your chin up!
