Alignment question?

When I do dumbbell curls, I can't hold the weights straight and level, no matter what. my right side seems to be more off kilter than my left though I'm right handed. I have two easy curl bars rather than a straight bar since it was more comfortable not to rotate my arms so far outward. the outside head of the dumbbell is always noticeably higher than the inside head.

Is this a technique issue or is it physiology? Should I be trying to correct this somehow? TIA!

Hi Trail Doggie! When curling a dumbbell it is not uncommon for the dumbbell to be tilted to one side a bit. If you take the weights out of your hands and do the motion without any weight you will in most cases notice your thumb side naturally a hair higher then your pinky side. It's normal and not effecting your strength gains.

My thumb side is quite a bit higher. I have a hard time rotating outward even in yoga poses with no weight. but if this is just "within normal range" physiology I won't stress about it. Thank you!
