I totally love Alexia Sweet Potato Fries. I got them from Meijer stores here in Michigan. Well when I went grocery shopping yesterday they did not have any. I called around to other Meijer stores, they did not have any. The last store I called the grocery person said he believes they do not carry the sweet potato fries any more. x( Anyone have any suggestions where I can find them in my area. My onlyu other alternative is to buy them from the company or Amazon and I can only imagine the shipping on that. I will have to make them from scratch! :( Help someone.... please....

i've never had these, but i do make sweet potato fries from scratch very often! it's so easy - i use a crinkle cutter that i had gotten from pampered chef to cut them up into fries or wedges. put them in a large ziploc with a teaspoon of olive oil and whatever seasonings you may want - sometimes i use salt and pepper, sometimes a little cinnamon or brown sugar. shake it up and bake them for about 40 minutes at 400 degrees on a cookie sheet or a baking stone. YUM.

Find the companies web site and see if they have a store locator.

They aren't hard to make from scratch.

Hey Kim,
I live in Michigan and love Alexia products, too. The onion rings and fries are awesome! Have you tried Kroger? They have a lot of organic products and I'm fairly certain I've bought Alexia there before. Good luck!

I tried those Alexia ones and absolutely love them! BUT THEN I saw that Trader Joe's sells the sweet potatoes already cut and ready to bake in the refrigerated veggie section in bags... presto change-o and you've got the sweet potato fries already done. Yum.

Kim, I agree with Klaudia go to your nearest Kroger. That is where I buy them because Meijer stop carrying them. Although most of I make my own:9

Target carries them around here. I can't find them in any grocery store. As the prev poster said, you can make your own as well, pretty easy. Just be careful cutting them!! Raw sweet potatoes are hard!!!

Hi Kim,

I am in love with the Alexia sweet potato fries. That is the snack my DH and I make when we sit down to watch a movie. They melt in your mouth. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for you -- just had to chime in on how good they are (especially with a little sea salt on them).

I live in the Detroit area and found Alexia SP Fries at Hiller's. I'm sure other grocers carry them as well.

Making them from scratch is easy peasy, too. :)

Thanks for all the tips ladies!! I did go onto Alexia's website and found I can buy them at Whole Foods. I immediately went there this afternoon and purchased threee bags!!!:p LOL!!!! I should be set for a very long time.

Mommacody- thanks for the recipe- I will be trying it with the cinnamon - sounds yummy.

greeneyedlefty and Amy .- thanks for the tips I will keep both Trader Joe's and Hiller's in mind in the future. esp. Trader Joes to try with Mommacody's recipe- I just don't have it in me to actually cut the sweet potatoes. I know, I am being lazy!

Thanks again to everyone! Crisis solved!!!
