After FitnessFreak's rotations for volume/hypertrophy... what?

Cathlete
Hi all!

I just finished my third FitnessFreak's monthly rotation of muscle building and strength.

I have gained muscle mass and strength (increased the weight load I began with by 5-10lbs on most exercises).

Should I move to a muscle definition rotation and if yes, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!!!

Chris.

Hi Debbie!

I think I'm in a place where I would want to define the bulk I have built to up to now.

I know I am repeating myself but your rotations are amazing! I noticed that after doing a little "homework" & comparison to your rotations I could easily apply the periodization factor to get even better results and progress!

Thanks again!!!
Chris.

Just one thing I forgot to mention... I've been working one body part per week, lifting as heavy as possible to failure, for most exercises.

Thanks, Debbie!!!

Looks great, and most importantly, workouts won't take more than an hour of my day! :D :D :D

One question, thou... should I use moderate or heavy weights? I mean, compared to the GS, S&H, PS weights I have been lifting for the past 3 months....

RE: After FitnessFreak's rotations for volume/hypertrop...

Chris - Lift about what Cathe lifts or whatever feels "comfortable" and not too strenuous. Give your muscles a break for the next 4 weeks. Concentrate on the movement and you'll be amazed how heavy a lighter weight will feel. That will cause change to the muscles as well because they will be working differently.

Eunice - If you do a body fat loss rotation there is a chance you will lose a little muscle, but not much. You will tone and define those muscles you have so people can see them. It's good to do this periodically. It's good to lift heavy to build for a few months and then drop back and tone up and define. The body needs that change. Once you go back to heavy lifting again your body will respond quickly. You will gain back that muscle and you will be lifting heavier.
