Has anyone ordered from Advanced Workouts.com? I was trying so hard to be good, but now that more information has been released about the new CIA workouts I want to order Sharon Twombly's and Kimberly Spreen's workouts. I missed the CIA presale, but Advanced Workouts is still selling them for $17.00. Is this a safe and trusted place to order workouts? Thanks.

I was very impressed with their service, communication and how quickly my dvds came. And I've ordered two more through them on the preorder and would not hesitate to order from them again.

I just finished Cardio-Camp Workout and really liked it! Kimberly Spreen knows her kickboxing and her form is great. I got this workout at Amazon for $9.99 and $2.59 shipping. I have had great success with Amazon and their vendors. I am finding that I like Amazon a little too much.

Really good seller. I have bought from her on many occasions and her customer service is excellent. I live in the UK and she delivers very quickly. I usually receive my order within a week, which is pretty good considering the items are international.

Yeah, it's a great site to order from. Jen's customer service is great. In fact, it's extremely great. I ordered DVDs from it for Christmas and one of them was defective, but I just asked them to send me a new one and they did so pronto. I am actually going to order all my DVD's from her from now on. Can't say enough about how impressed I am.

I really like it as well, and Kimberly is one of my favorite instructors.

I think one of Kimberly's strengths is her ability to make the moves flow together so easily. There are never any awkward transitions or any big add-ons that are hard to follow in her workouts.


I also was impressed with Sharon Money Twombly, whose 2006 DVD (which also includes a good Bosu workout from Seasun Ziegler (sp?)) I picked up for $10. I liked it so much, I went back to preorder her upcoming workout.
 
I plan on preordering/ordering a few workouts from her. I sent an e-mail to her on Friday morning and had a response by Friday afternoon. I even got a response Friday evening to my thank you e-mail that I sent back. I preordered Sharon's workout from CIA but am now thinking aobut the combat kickbox one. I'm really trying to get some variety in my cardio workouts. I'm also going to order Amy Bento's Abs & Stretch and if I preorder Tracey Staehle's I may do it from Advanced since I'm already ordering the other workouts from Advanced. My question is, how does this work? Do the instructors/producers lose money? Does Jen get a cut or what? I'm just curious how this works since she is offering the presale and the same prices as the instructors. I would think to make money, she would have to up the price a little. I'm so not business savvy.

Hi Laura

Did you have to pay customs duty? I normally get mine from Collage and so far I've been lucky enough to avoid it.

I'm tempted to buy all the new series as the price on Advanced Workouts is so good. But I want to make sure it's legit first!

If you have ordered from Tracey before, go back and order her new lot directly from her again, because she is offering free shipping to repeat customers. I like to order directly from Tracey because she is friendly and responds quickly. I like her more than I like the service from Jen (@AA) or Any Bento.

Other than that, Jen from Advancedworkouts is completely reliable, compassionate and honest. Order without a qualm from her.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I don't know why I didn't preorder with CIA other than I was trying to cut back on my purchases, but I(like many others) loved Sharon's first workout so I'm not sure why I talked myself out of ordering her new one. Now that I know it's safe and reliable I'm off to order. Thanks again.
 
I have to add to this thread too! I just found this site and have placed a couple of orders. Wow! The shipping was super fast, good packaging and her communication if a DVD isn't available is great! I will definitely order from this site in the future.

I was just checking my e-mail and there was a very nice e-mail from Jen from Advanced Workouts. I ordered All Systems Go through Amazon and Jen didn't have any in stock, so she contacted Mindy and had her send me one so I wouldn't have to wait for her to receive her shipment of DVDs. What amazing customer service. If I had any doubts about ordering directly from her website, I certainly don't now. :D
