Acne

The more I work out, the more I break-out in blemishes. I feel that I eat well and as clean as possible; however, perhaps you can provide me with an explanation or some pointers. I have been working with your DVDs since May 2006 and ever since, I have broken out more and more. I probably have toxins in my body that are being pushed out through my pores. I do take a shower immediately after working out & I do not use anything harsh on my face to clean. Prior to your work-outs, I have had very little acne. I did work-out; however, not as challenging as yours. I truly do love your work-outs. Please definitely keep up the great work - you have helped me achieve my goals and I look forward to progressing with you. Anyway, I hope that you can help. I am 36 years old and sometimes I feel like I am going through puberty again. Yikes!

I look forward to your valuable feedback.

All my best,
Catherine

Hi -Not Cathe, but I also felt I was breaking out more. The dermatologist actually told me it wasn't that (arms, chest and back) but infected hair follicles and has prescribed me an antibiotic to take (you have to take more than just 10 days). Not sure if this is what you have, maybe see a dermatologist.

No, I do not. Any other thoughts? I have been eating more protein (added whey protein) so that I could progress and recover more with my work-outs. You think that is it? If so, what to do?

Thanks for the advice; however, I am trying to stay away from unnatural substances if at all possible & only use in emergencies. I am so frustrated. If you can think of anything further, I am all ears. Many thanks again.;( ;(

Hi Catherine! I definitely recommend seeing a dermatologist to rule out and or correct any problem that might be discovered. The few things that come to mind are possibly Rosacea( red areas on your face or small, red bumps or pustules on your nose, cheeks, forehead and chin), Exercise Induced Hives (red blotchy skin), or an allergic reaction to a soap or dertergent that doesn't flare up until your perspire.

Good luck with everything. I really hope you find relief soon. Take Care :)

Thanks Cathe. It's most likely the detergent from the towels and wrist bands because my husband is going through the same thing, except on his arms, back, and legs. I truly appreciate you taking the time to respond to my matter. ALL THE BEST - CAT.:)
