A (very) short fashion rant

Bermuda shorts aren't flattering on ANYONE. Not even supermodels look good in them. Why do they insist on bringing back this fashion flotsam. Some things are just better left dead.

Now, stirrup pants. THOSE should make a come back. I can't find them anywhere!;)

Disclaimer - for those still wearing stirrup pants, the above remarks were made without prejudice. Any opinions expressed by the poster are not necessarily the opinion of the management of this website.

LMAO! There's a woman I work with who wears stirrup pants. The thing that kills me is she has more money than god, yet her wardrobe is still stuck in 1983.

Talk about a "what were we thinking" moment. All I can say is I'm thankful last year's attempted revival of gauchos failed miserably.

Just a heads up ladies...my 14 yr old daughter thinks leggings with long sweaters is fashionable!
The stirrups can't be far behind! Yikes!

Kerrie:eek:

Yea...I think Old Navy sales are going to go WAY down here. I expect to see a bunch of bermuda shorts on clearance racks where they have to keep slashing the prices to get someone to buy them.

Well, I am one of the few minority here who actually likes Bermuda shorts. I guess it's the way my lower body is made, but I prefer longer shorts to shorter ones, so Bermuda shorts are perfect for me. Plus, I might actually be able to get away with wearing Bermuda shorts to work, whereas regular shorts would be a no-no.

So, I'll be waiting for those clearance sales at Old Navy so I can stock up! :D :7

Hey, I liked that look! Makes my legs look slim, and my upper body look nice as well.

Yeah, even the people in the Old Navy commercials looked ridiculous!!! I think they're running out of old 80's styles to revive!

And you know if something looks bad on those models, it looks even worse on 80 percent of the population.

Stirrup pants, leg warmers, long baggy sweaters, studded belts, multi-layered clothes, "flashdance" ripped sweatshirts and capri pants. The 80's are returning. I have seen all these items on young people and cringe every time. Yeeesh! What was I thinking when I wore this in the eighties??
