A very cool present

Hi!

My DH bought me a Compaq laptop! How cool is that? This is my very first post on my new toy. Mousing is going to take some getting used to but since it's wireless, I could actually post to the boards while I'm catching my breath during my workouts! LOL
Had to share my present with all my friends!

Congrats Kim! BTW-you can go buy a plug and play mouse for the laptop if you don't like the internal one....we recently got a laptop and I couldn't get the hang of the mouse so I picked up a plug and play for $20.00 at Best Buy...It makes a world of difference! Ofcourse...if you don't have a flat surface to put the mouse on you HAVE to use the internal...it all depends on where you intend to use the lap top most....

Well, I would prefer the green but I guess I could tolerate any of the other colors, if I absolutely had to. :)

My 12 yr old son just got one (with his own money) and DH and I are incredibly jealous!! x( . Of course, since we have to pay the bills, we can't afford one!!!!

Lois - I hear 'ya about the kids getting all the cool toys. My daughter's 17 and isn't working yet but I told her I'm all done buying her "toys". I'm trying to motivate her to get a little part time job but we spoiled her!

Debbie - Thanks for sharing in my excitement. I am a lucky woman. My DH is a very generous man. Come to think of it, he spoils me so that's probably why I spoil her! Hmmmmm...
