Cathlete
Well my fellow Cathletes, life is good! I posted a couple of months ago that I had just returned to working out and was on my way to a better, happier life.
A little OT but I wanted to share an amazing day.
Today was the first anniversary of my mother's death. I woke up this morning feeling pretty sad, especially right at 7:15 a.m. when she passed away. I thought to myself, "Well I can wallow in my sorrow all day or I can make the most of this beautiful day." I proceeded to do an AWESOME Cathe workout. After that I treated myself to a haircut at my neighborhood stylist. I had been putting off doing a final project for a class so I tackled that too. Had a wonderful comfort food lunch (catfish nuggets, coleslaw, and cornbread!)
I decided to ride my bike to the local library and found a wonderful book called "Happy For No Reason." After reading for a couple of hours I decided to take a little break and went to the cutest little restaurant and had a veggie wrap and fruit. I went back to the library and read until they closed the doors. As I was walking out I thought to myself, "I just had one of the best days I can remember." All of a sudden it dawned on me what day it was. Yep, she was right there with me! I looked up at the sky, gave her a big kiss, hopped on my bike and rode home to my two bright-eyed, always welcoming doggies.
Thanks for letting me share my day with all of you You guys are great
