Congratulations, Suzanne! The pics are wonderful, especially that last one, and you look beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing. How did everything go?

Nancy, first, thanks! And the day went pretty smoothly all things considered. That was the weekend that Danny was zooming up the coast and we watched the weather and just shrugged our shoulders. That morning DH (my first DH!!!) went out and bought another umbrella. DD and I went to the flower store and randomly picked out what flowers appealed to us - I wasn't going to do a bouquet but then changed my mind after checking out this florist with my sister the day before - what a fun little place.

Since it was just us two and the kids, the JP, and our photographer we just had our little ceremony in the barn because it was still raining pretty hard then. Afterwards, it was just drizzling mostly, and windy, but we had Wellies for my two and I had my gardening clogs and we just roamed the garden. This place is a lot of fun - it's a private garden owned by the JP and his wife. She does all the sculpture.

So many, many thanks to all for your stories about your own small weddings and all the help with shopping and all the very, very kind compliments.

I often say you can find the best things on the internet - that's how I found my DH after all, and Cathe, and all you lovely folks!!!!!!!!!
