Why oh why can't I sleep?!?!?!

I've been up since 3:30, it's now 4:30. My belly is huge and uncomfortable, Julia is thumpin' me like she wants out NOW! I have tried every position imaginable to sleep. And to top it all off - Last night Mike was totally in the mood (which RARELY happens!) and not only did I not want to have sex I was 100% turned off/grossed out at the thought of being touched. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME?!?!?!

This morning will be errandmax, the afternoon will be packmax, the evening will be payrollmax.
I really wanted to get a good heavy lifting in for UB since I won't have access to weights for the next week and a half but I seriously doubt that's going to happen today so BOOOOOO! to that.

Saturday AM we'll leave as early as possible. Hopefully we'll get the truck all packed up tonight so we can wake up, eat breakfast and walk out the door. We have to drop Mufasa off at the kennel on our way. That should be interesting, huh? A full Durango, a family of 4 and a Great Dane?! We've actually had worse! Once we had all of us, my sister, a packed Durango pulling a camper, Mufasa when he was a puppy, and Annie (our old Great Dane) in the truck! We must've been quite a site! We were all laughing so hard - there was ZERO room to move.

It takes about 3.5 hours to get to Traverse. We're staying at Great Wolf Lodge Saturday night so the kids can play in the waterpark - wish I could go down the waterslides! WAH! Then Sunday we'll check in at the condo on the beach. I'll have my laptop so I'll be workin' out and checkin' in! I am really motivated to eat as clean as possible - wish me luck! I'm planning on lots of cardio and lots of stretching. A day at the dunes should give me a good lower body blast, canoeing should take care of an upper body workout for a day.

We'll be home Sunday the 20th in the evening. Home for 3 days to unpack and repack. Then Thursday REALLY EARLY in the AM we'll all head off to drop me off at the airport for ROAD TRIP!!!! Those 3 days are going to be so busy but I know I'm going to be so excited I won't care one bit. I already know a lot of work issues that will be waiting for me, but trying not to stress about it all.

Anybody else up and feel like chatting? Robin? Sometimes you can't sleep! Are you out there?!
 
okay, so who wants to see some scary pics early in the morning?!

Both are when I was 22 weeks pg. Tomorrow I'll be 26.

The first one is me and Mike. Isabel is in the background getting the *very last* of a chocolate shake. We're on our deck in our backyard.

This one is me, getting ready to workout. Notice the super cool harlequin diamonds I had our painter do in the entryway to the garage!
On the right is the girls' bathroom - it's turquoise with hot pink trim & molding. Even the door is painted hot pink!
And yes, the walls in the hallway are bright yellow. We have a very colorful house!

It's now 5 am - should I even bother trying to sleep?!
 
Geez Kate, sorry you can't sleep! I wish I was still asleep!

The next few weeks for you sound busy but lots of fun! I am sure you and the family will enjoy the vacation, and I will make sure you have a good time at the RT! You seem to be able to keep it clean under all circumstances, so I have no doubt that you will do just fine next week!

So happy it's Friday! I am sipping my coffee, preparing for my workout -- about 30 minutes of KPC, then 4DS bis and tris.

I am leaving right after work to go away for the weekend to my Dad's house. I am talking my walking shoes so I can go for a long walk in the morning, and then I know the rest of the day will be active too (swimming, boating, fishing).

Kate, you look wonderful!! I love that bump!! Your backyard looks gorgeous! And for some reason, I was thinking that Mike looked totally different from that...? I thought I had seen a picture of him, but maybe I had just formed an image in my mind. Who knows... Either way, you are both adorable, and your little peanut in the background is adorable (and funny!) too!
 
Good morning Katie! I wish I could go workout like you but I get so nauseous if I do that in the morning. How do you do it?! Thanks for the words of encouragement - all exciting things so we'll be doing good!

Kate, I am definitely a morning person, I wouldn't work out if I didn't do it first thing. Yes, Chris is off this weekend, so he is coming to my Dad's with me.

First off, Kate you look gorgeous!!! So does your family and those diamonds! And the backyard! and everything. Sorry you couldnt sleep, maybe you're excited about the trip? I havent slept for a couple of nights, but i think i'm hungry, and i just dont get up to eat in the night, or right before bed, i wasnt raised like that, but i should know better.

Katie, Enjoy the weekend, it sounds like it will be restful. I need a coffee, we need to make sure there's a coffee maker in our RT room!!

Steph, Thanks so much! I went to bed hungry too - maybe that's our problem! PushPull is a good one when you need to get total body in fast. Your WO sounds nice - I haven't done CS all week and I miss it. I thought baout doing it this AM but I climbed back in to bed. I slept for about 10 minutes when the girls woke up! GRRRR!! Good eats for you, as always!

I had some of DDs toast with breakfast. With as tired as I am I know I'm going to be craving the carbs - I need to be extra careful today. Not starting off so good - wish me lucK!

Good Morning Everyone!

Yeah!!! I got a Dr. Appt with my doctor at 12:30. I need to leave in an hour so I can get some lunch on the way. I have been teasing DH all morning because he really wants the new iPhone but he refuses to wait in line. We waited in line for the first one. I think we were like 6 and 7 in line. The first person in line had been there for 2 days.

Kate, love the pics. Sorry you are not sleeping. I didn't sleep very well last night. I think DH was excited about the new iPhone and couldn't sleep so he woke me up. He is such a little kid.

Colleen, Glad you're getting seen by the doc. LOL about DH's Iphone! I have no clue what they do more than a regular mobile! Are you taking the rest of the day off or going back in?

We just made dark brown sugar cookies. One of our suppliers bought our lunch when we ran into him at a restaurant last week so we're going to take them to his office this afternoon. Trying *hard* to resist!!!

Got DDs all packed up for vaca. More to do....

The last week in July I'm planning to go to NC just to look around for a place to live and visit my family.

Steph I've done pushpull a few times. It's a great workout that last less than one hour.
Shirl my fav step w/o is Rhythmic Step. You see Cathe needs to make another Rhythmic step workout also.

Colleen do you think the new Iphone price will drop in a few months?

My cheat/treat meal was garlic chicken with rice for lunch.

Now back on the clean and tidy wagon.

Colleen I like this saying ("You must do the things you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt). I really think that I can not move to another state by myself, so I'm just going to do it.

Robin, I sampled one-third of a cookie and it was DIVINE! My problem now is I WANT MORE! Resisting though! I hope all goes well for you in NC - and you CAN do it! You're about the strongest woman I know! There is no way on this green earth that I could raise 2 kids by myself. Props to you!

Nap was great!!! Lots more to do now!

Good afternoon everyone,

The last 24 hours have been a wash. Had sushi (and some pizza shhh) last night with Ryan and then had a brunch this morning with a bunch of friends. Had mostly banana bread and watermelon. The rest of the day/weekend will be clean. Cross my fingers - hope to die. :)

Kate, sorry you couldn't sleep. Loved the pics though, they're adorable. Have a great time on your trip!

Katie, your WO sounds great. That's what I should have done yesterday! I hope you and Chris have a great weekend.

Robin, I'm with you - I love the step DVDs. Does anyone know if we are actually going to be able to download WOs with the new software like they had originally talked about? I'm hesitant to buy new DVDs when I can just have them digitally!

Shirl, your menu sounds great! And I really have to try this Amy Bento workout!

Steph, your menu sounds fabulous too. I am planning to do BM2 cardio on Sunday too. I really like it but can't quite get myself to do two risers yet!

Angie, Did you say pizza?! Seems like I have been so hungry the last couple days! No clue on the downloadable workouts. I don't use 2 risers either - My HR gets up well enough with 1 set and 2 makes me dread the WO. Might as well keep it fun! Hope you havea good weekend!

I just did SS UB - only 34 minutes but it's actually more than I had time to do. Just being selfish!:7
