Tonight I have a board mtg for preschool then the open house right after, so it's gonna be a long night!

Hoping to fit some cardio in during the day somewhere.

d - ???maybe same as lunch. I have to leave pretty early for the board mtg
not sure on snacks, I'm just glad there are no sweets in the house!!

Hey Kate, thanks for the concern!! My little family is going thru a bit of a tough time right now, so I am doing my best to spend more time with them and stay off the boards. I didn't workout yesterday since I had gotten in an extra cardio over the weekend. Woke up early this morning to workout but just didn't feel it -- too much on my mind. Maybe tonight? That never seems to work, though.

I haven't been feeling well so I'm really not eating much. Another reason I don't beat myself up for not working out -- my body has no fuel!

Yesterday was my busiest day at work in a long time! I think i'm lazy from the summer where all the docs are on vacation :)

Kate, you're my idol! HIS last night??? I did some lower body work on Saturday, i'm just easing back into it. Water aerobics sounds lovely actually.

Colleen I have ASC3 and the 1st combo is easy then she hits you with the 2nd one. I was so discourage that I didn't even try the 3rd...yet. I have to try it sometime this week. Do you have Rumble?

FM (Family drama)
Now the reason why I could not get online as soon as I moved into this place was b/c my cousin Tracey never truned off her cable. She took one of her boxes (she use to live in this house and move out when I moved in) and hooked up some illegal cable in her new place. So she could not turn off her service b/c then she would have to turn in all the cable boxes. WTH! After about 3 or 4 days of no TV I got a attitude:mad:. Then she call the cable place to turn off her service so that I can turn on my service.

Family.....

Oh she also used my Uhaul truck to move her stuff out. When I got to NC the next day we moved my stuff into the house while her stuff was still here.:mad: I thought that she moved her stuff like cloths, food etc. Well she didn't. So she had to use my Uhaul to move her stuff into her new place. And noooo she did not give me a dime for the use of the truck.

Family....

If one more person ask me to borrow money....:mad: they don't know I keep a notebook on who owes me. HA!

Oh a lighter note I'm unpacked exept for the winter stuff. I'll keep that packed up until I need it.

I've joined my family church at Word Tabernacle Church.

The kids have adjusted to their new schools and so far my DD loves HS.

Robin, The pulled muscle is still there, so off to the chiro sometime today. Thanks for asking! Sorry about the FD!!! We are within 10 minutes of almost our entire fams, both sides, so I knwo all about it!!! Glad everyone is settling tho....

Colleen, What do you think of HISM? I'm thinking of buying some TS's for post-partum but not sure what to get......

Let's see you can make beef stew, BBQ beef, beef wellington (sp?), grill steak, hmmmm. I must be hungry.

My w/o was fun. Amy's Rumble is easy compared to her other kickboxing w/o but this one uses 1# handweights. It's challenging but I had to use my DD weight gloves, so I brought my own Cathe weighted gloves.
Last week I brought the weighted vest. It look a lot smaller when I took it out of the box but it's heavy (10#).

Did anyone else buy any of the cathe new stuff?

yay on your Cathe purchases. I got the green stability ball. Wish I could've got the pink and or red ones but they are too small for me.:(
 
Okay, boot camp done. That is a tough one but I finished. I can't say I completed every exercise to the end but most of them. The core work is really hard for me. Plus, I can't even begin to do that many regular push ups. :) Something to work towards.

Kate, I thought step work was out for the rest of your pg... I'm pretty sure HIS is step work. :) How's Gina doing with school?

Katie, don't worry about us, hang in there, take care of your family. We'll be here when you come back! (((HUGS)))

Robin, so nice to have you back! Thanks for all the beef suggestions... I'll get cracking and you can come over. The problem right now is I don't have a crock pot. I might have to break down and buy one because with all this meat I'll need it!

Steph, I suppose it's probably nice to have work as a distraction lately. Hope you are doing OK! I would probably have gained a million pounds if I were under the same stress... but you keep your eats so clean!

Colleen, enjoy your cooler weather. I'm ready for it here but we have a couple more months of heat! Ugh.

Okay, time for bfast. Then to a playgroup. I met a french lady at the pool who has two daughters and she said we could come over and play in "french" so I'm excited about that.

Just did LS 4 mile interval jog/walk. I got a good workout but it isn't step! Tomorrow will be a rest day.

Need to shower and get things ready for dinner.

I am exhausted. PMS is kicking my butt this week. It's only 8:30 and I want to go to bed.

Kate, I like both HISM and HISM2. They are interval workouts like Imax but she repeats the step combos and strings what you learned together after each interval. The intervals are really tough and you get a break during each one and then you do it again. HISM2 is a killer because you have to do intervals 1-3 back to back. I am tired thinking about it. Step SweatFest is half and half - half intervals, half steady step. The choreo is different so it may take you a couple times to get used to her style.
Angie, BC kicked my butt the first few times through but then it got easier.
Robin, I have Rumble but I didn't enjoy it when I just did the combos. I do need weighted gloves but I am too cheap to pay the outrageous shipping for them at the Cathe store. I have ASC 3 too and I was able to get through most of it. There are a couple of moves I still fake my way through.

Kate I went back to work Monday. :( I love being on vacation.
Traceys step workouts are fun she has great music. Her cueing is a lot different than Cathe's. But once you get used to her style I think you'll have fun.

Colleen get some rest, hope you feel better tomorrow.
Angie BC is good because your only doing everything for a minute. Try the everything but core combo, that's a good one. And the bonus combo of ME/BC combined thats real good too. Enjoy your new workouts.
