9th Interval in IMAX2

Just wanted to add that I just did IMAX 2 and yup that interval is tough. I can do it but I really need to focus on a spot on the wall or something and concentrate hard. If I start to think about what I'm doing forget I won't be able to finish it.
It will take some time but just keep at it and then you will find as I have that IMAX 2 will be your all time favorite workout. I love it and have to do at a min. of once per week I always feel so accomplished after I'm done...it's a great feeling :)

I think I'm finally catching on to the concept that I can change any part of the workout that I don't like. I'm pretty anal, though (it must be the actuary in me) so I do tend to follow the workouts as produced. Perhaps it's time for me to stray off that straight, mapped-out line. I might even substitue some kickbox jump kicks for those sumo squats (which I like even less than the plie jacks!).

I think I'm finally catching on to the concept that I can change any part of the workout that I don't like. I usually do either power scisssors and/or kickbox jump kicks onto the step just as you say. Great minds think alike!! Enjoy it: it's YOUR workout!!!!!!!!!

Yes - these were tougho for me at the beginning....then I started counting. I know I only have to do 6 sets of them. I count 1/6 done...1/3 done...1/2 done...2/3 done... 5/6 done... ALL DONE!

Maybe a little on the weird side but that's how I psyche myself into doing all of them. As Tony Horton says... Do your best and forget the rest. I agree.

I also count down when a workout it tough. I remind myself how much I've already done. Some days I can do interval 9, some days I can't. I also focus on the music. No doubt, interval 9 is extremely tough. ;-)

I can get through it but like others I play little counting games. It feels so good to hae accomplished that workout.

It is less painful when I do it on a regular basis versus pulling it out only occaisionally. However I always complete every jump either way.
