60 minutes or less

Can anyone recommend any Cathe DVDs that are 60 minutes or less. For sure not more than 70 from start to finish. I consider myself an advanced level, but do not want to work out for 90 minutes on most days of the week. I LOVE full body workouts that include cardio and toning from head to toe. Circuit training workouts are usually what I tend to go for. I have the 2003 Boot Camp DVD, but that just took a dump on me so thought I would try something different. Something that includes total body toning with ab work and cardio would be preferred, but it doesn't even have to include both as I can alternate between Imax 3 on cardio days and whatever muscle toning workout the oposite days. Like most every one my primary goal is more fat loss than muscle gain. If I can just lose the fat and keep the muscle. I realize it is almost impossible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Yes, I am reading Tom Venuto's BTF,FTM. I haven't gotten all the way through it yet. I need to clean up my diet, but that is another post. Thanks for any recommendations. I LOVE Body Max 2, Low Impact Circuit, and Butts and Guts, but just find they last longer than I want to do on most days. TIA!

Premixes

Snitker:

I have one word for you. Premixes! Yes, I can recommend fun circuit workouts like High Step Challenge if you are in the market for new workouts. But I suggest that you try the premixes on the DVDs you have since you love the workouts but want a shorter version. I love the premixes for that series more than the workouts as produced. Body Max 2 has great premixes. The cardio and weights premix is my favorite. There is also a boot camp premix on that DVD similar in format to the original Boot Camp. Low Impact Circuit has a fun upper body circuit premix. The Butts and Guts leg blast premix is my favorite way to enjoy that workout. I love the cardio premixes in that series too. Give the premixes a whirl! Have fun!

Oh, check out the workouts in Cathe’s December rotation as most of them are 60 minutes or less:

By the way, Supersets is my favorite fun total body workout when I am pressed for time. Step, Jump, & Pump is another personal favorite circuit workout.

RE: Premixes

Definitely explore your premixes as well as doing your own mishmoshes via the mix n' match menus.

In terms of circuit recommendations, I second the vote for High Step Challenge - it's a favorite. It's 68 min. total, but there are 51 min. and 32 min. timesavers on this disc. Great workout - the hover squats at the end are just killer.

I am thinking of getting the Cross Train Xpress series. Does this sound like a good fit for me? Love to hear other opinions of it! Thanks all!

I love the Cross Train Xpress series. During the week, I need to exercise in the morning before I go to work because when I get home at night it's too late and tired to work out. So I'm up at 5:30 a.m. to exercise. I enjoy lately doing shorter more intense workouts and benefit greatly from them. I do try to eat clean during the day since I'm doing only approx. 1/2 cardio in the a.m. followed by one body part (primarily going as heavy as I can) and working my abs. So yes, this is definitely a good fit for you - let me know how you are liking them.

Ok I cut and pasted that above and it didn't come out quite right.

The list includes: (1) type of workout, (2) name of workout and (3)length of the workout in minutes.

I think you get the idea....

Deana I just discovered your list for 60 minutes or less - this is great! Thank you for compiling it and posting it.
