Hi everyone, late start again, sorry. Having a heck of time at night with back pain, (up all night).

Anyways, anyone feel free to start this check-in whenever they feel like it, if it's not already posted.

So far so good. Instead of eating some frozen yogurt or ice cream, for a snack I opted for some fat-free mozzerella on a toasted whole wheat english muffin with a tomato. Completely satisfied me:)

Other than that there weren't really any temptations for me yesterday. So one more day down:):):)

Hey Carrie -

I don't think I posted yesterday and I'm sorry. I do want to be part of this check-in to help keep me (and others, lol) in line. However, I forgot myself last night and indulged in fat free frozen yogurt. Tonight I am going to remember. Thanks for starting this post.

I'll check back in later. So far so good for today. Okay, back to work!!!!

I've had 4 days straight of clean eating - I'm on a roll! :7 UGH! Did I say rolls? I LOVE rolls!!!!

One of my co-workers brought in a pack of double-stuff Oreos today and they are sooo tempting but I'm not touching them. I did put a little creamer in my coffee this morning (CoffeeMate Lite) but just one cup of coffee. I've picked up the pace on my workouts as well so I'm feeling better about my efforts lately.

Hi everyone,

I tried to post this thread earlier but it just did happen. Don't know what went wrong.

This is actually day four for me and I am doing really well, no mistakes yet! Its tough though. I am a SAHM and I find myself wandering into the kitchen then the pantry (because I am bored). So far I just look for awhile and make myself turn around. I figure I am going to get alot of chores and projects done, as this it what I go do to get my mind off of the sweets. They say it gets easier after you have made seven days. Boy, I hope so.

So has anyone planned any "rewards" for each week or for the end? I am trying to think what I could do that wouldn't be food related. Perhaps, the massage I have been longing for.

Have a great day and good luck!

Linda

PS - Can you believe I told my DH that I joined this challange and he said I'd never make it. I am mad that he didn't support me but maybe its good because now I am mad enough to prove him wrong! x(

I know this is probably too late and maybe I'll post about this again tomorrow, because I jumped over a huge milestone tonight. We went to the movies, you know that yummy can't resist movie theater popcorn that drives people crazy just from the smell alone?!?

Well, not only did I save $$$, I also saved myself a whole lot of calories. I am soooo proud I said "NO":):):) I did bring with me some sugar-free orbit gum to keep me busy during those teeth-clenching scenes, (The Hills Have Eyes II), I know, "What was I thinking?" I would not suggest this movie by the way. There were scenes in it I probably won't forget anytime soon, VERY GRUESOME and GORY...

I did however have about a half cup of cereal (cinnamon toast crunch) and fat free milk when I got home;( Oh well, at least this time it feels like 2 steps forward and only 1 step back.

Carrie,

Great job avoiding the popcorn. I made my kids pizza tonight (with a wholw wheat crust), it was so hard not to cut just a small slice. But I looked at the sauce ingredients and it had a good amount of sugar and I am sure some more in the crust. So I didn't do it!

Yeah, me!
