Cendrine, not meaning to put any pressure on the Monday thing! To be honest, I would like to come home for a day! I guess we'll wait and decide based on weather. If we leave from mom's, it's a 12-13 hour drive; if we leave from here it's 8-9. Of course, either way, we have to go over 3 mountain passes. Last time DH and I did it from mom's we hit a terrible snow storm over 2 of the passes and ended up getting there at 2 in the morning - it tooks us 15 hours. Anyway, we can play it by ear...if we're here and you're there and available, we can do it! I guess I'll know next week.
So...yes, I finished shopping today except for DH! And, I know there's couple of things he wants that we can just order on-line. Whew...I'm glad to be done! I'm with you Rachel, I love to buy presents but have a hard time figuring it all out! I'm excited about a couple of presents I got people because I came across items I know they'll be really excited about! For example, I didn't know until this last year that my sister really loves anything with butterflies. I found these beautiful hand blown glass magnets and a paperweight with butterflies in them (not real ones!). I know she'll be excited to get these! They're beautiful!
Kim, I'll bet if felt good to get back into the swing of things with your workout! I thought of you today when I saw some runners. They looked cold but happy!

Okay, Xmas cards are next....
Rachel, your workout sounds great for the week! I have a rotation (on my other computer somewhere) that I used to do for targeting my legs and I always got results. If I can ever get to it, I'll share it. You are going to have some happy legs!
Cendrine, speaking of cookies. Your post reminded me I'm supposed to make cookies for cookie exchange later this week. Ughh...when will I do that? I'll bet you had fun working with the kids! Sounds like a good time!
Oh, and I bought myself these cool gloves. I'm one that gets really cold (I'm part reptile). Anyway, went to sporting goods store (REI) to get big gloves (for snowshoeing, etc.) for my step son. I found these gloves for me that are waterproof/windproof/lightweight and fleece lined. They are really cool. I have really heavy gloves but they are bulky when trying to shovel snow, etc. These will be good for doing things like shoveling, or walking or whatever! They also stretch so fit very snug and are targeted for outdoor winter sports. I'm excited - it's a little present to me! I ended up getting me, DH and SS all a pair and then I also got SS the pair I originally went to get him!
When I got home I seeded 3 pomegranites. I bought a box of 9 at Costco. I LOVE them and put them on my oatmeal and salads when they are in season. Okay, off to relax a little. Last thing, I made myself a delicious salad (everyone had eaten when I got home) with romaine, kale, yellow peppers, onions, tomato, walnuts, grapes, clementines and pomegranite and of course, pico de gallo for dressing! Oh and of course...the most important ingredient - black beans!

Talk to you all tomorrow!
