Cathlete
Kim I can not imagine something like that! (((Hugs))) from me to you.

It was disk 10 for me today but I had no time for the abs. But I knew I would not so I tried to at least keep 'em tight for all the leg workout. I felt pretty good about it.

Cendrine-I still have no idea what rotation I might do. I have not had time to look and see if I like any of cathe's other rotations from the past. I did see someone posted her rotations on one of the forums from way back but of course I do not have her workouts from along time ago. It sounds like you are super creative with your homeschooling.

Chrissy-When I was 18 I worked at a vet for a year and I can not tell you how many she's turned into he's and vice versa.<--spelling? At least he already had a name he could keep:D I did not see about the auditions. I think it would be so cool though. But I am too clutzy for something like that.

Well I am off to work for another day of greatness:rolleyes:

Rachel

Thanks everyone for your kind words. We had a nice day yesterday, we kept busy with errands during the day. In the evening, we took some flowers to the cemetery. When we came home, dd and went through my "memory box" of stuff for Christopher. Since she was born after him, alot of it was new for her. I thought at age 9 she was able to understand. We looked at pics, and read many letters/poems that people wrote to us. It was very touching, sharing all her brother's mementos with her. Yes, and we both had a good cry.

Today, the kids and I have no plans so may go do something fun. DS is becoming a teen (age 12) and sleeps till noon though:rolleyes::rolleyes: So we'll do something this afternoon.

Rachael Hope you have no more stressors with this job! How soon are you to finishing?? So where are you going on your trip in September???

Cendrien Your homeschooling sounds like so much fun!!!! I think you're very wise in taking your time to decide on the puppy. Puppies are a tremendous amount of work ( but oh so cute!)so you have to be very ready for the work.

Chrissy I'm glad to see you back! Sounds like a good holiday! So are you and kids all back to school after Labour Day weekend??? The auditions would be fun! DH got the email from Cathe on his work email (I think because he ordered a Christmas gift for me once) He keeps telling the kids that Cathe invited him to be in a dvd:rolleyes::rolleyes: I'm sure the kitten is as cute as a button. Will it be an indoor cat? What do you have to do for the fleas? How's Insanity????

I did do CLX yesterday and my foot seemed not bad. So will keep going today.

Hi Everyone,

I did disk 11 today, and as I was warming up I was thinking, why the heck are my triceps sore, I haven't worked them all week? Then I remembered that the leg disk had those glute rollins on the ball and I must have stabilized and compensated with my arms a lot on the floor... So I'm sure I will be extra sore tomorrow, I feel it even now!

Kim, I started tearing up just reading about how you commemorated your day yesterday. I'm so glad you can share this as a family!

Rachel, I hope your day at work was productive! I decided that tomorrow I'm doing the two 20 min runs that I skipped from this week's rotation. A little cardio won't hurt me!
I'm glad to report that my eating has been nicely controlled in a moderate way this whole week without any dives! I feel great about it!

We also have completed our first week of homeschooling! Yay! I enjoy it. Except when the kids dawdle and don't want to do the parts they don't enjoy but still need to be done, like spelling for instance... Wasting time drives me nuts...
But I'm starting to get a real good feel for what I need to do at what time in the day to get the best results and that will make everything go more smoothly next week. Working all the kinks out.

hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day.

Kim-the vet treated the cat for fleas. He got a pill to kill the ones on him and something (a gel of some sort) was put on his back to protect him for the month. Even though the cat was only in our house for 4 days the vet said we probably have them in our house so we have to bomb the house. UGH!! So we all have to be out of the house for a few hours which isn't too much of a problem but the cat has to be out also. It's not like we can put him on a leash. We were thinking about doing it when he gets neutered but wasn't sure if waiting 3 weeks (thats when he is going) was too long to treat the house. ( do the fleas quickly multiply:confused:)

I didn't work out for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. :( So I just started up with insanity yesterday. I can't do the rotation as is because its the impact is too high for me to do 2 days in a row. Right now I am alternating it with strength. I have to say doing STS kept focused and on schedule. Right now I feel like I am all over the place.

Cendrine- I am glad you are enjoying home schooling. I definitely wouldn't have had the patience for that. I am glad your eating is back on track. I am doing good since I have been back. I just feel really blah because my weight is way up from vacation on top of the 10 lbs I gain at the beginning of june. My nutritionist is amazed how easily I gain weight (I think she would be more amazed if she saw how much I can eat-)

Rachel-Hope your job is going okay. Maybe that is why you weren't feeling too great. ( a stressful, demanding job and intense workouts).
yes we were pretty shocked by the male/female thing. I just got used to calling him a her now I have to get used to calling her a him. It's not going too well. My oldest son keeps correcting me. But he is a big mush! (the cat that is)

I spoke to Gayle yesterday. Her grandmother passed away, so she has alot going on. But she is doing okay. She says hello and will try to get back here again.

have a good night everyone
chrissy
