Good morning,
Katie, I could just copy and paste your email as my own! I did All-Step followed by PUB, and also increased my bicep work, and then couldn't raise my arms to get my cool-down shirt over my head. My daughter thought it was hilarious. The planks/pikes were exhausting because of the tired arms. Those are much easier when you haven't fried your upper body just before!
I used my new 2 1/2 lb platemates today, and did the 8 rep chest work with 22 1/2 lb dumbells, and the 8 rep bicep work with 17 1/2 dumbells. The chest work was just fine, but my form on the bicep work was slipping on the last 4 traditional curls, so I may have to reconsider how I do those. Maybe do the hammer curls with the platemates, and the traditional curls with just the 15lb dumbells.
This is rather confusing about melding the two check-ins. One if specifically for those doing the January rotation, and the other is for general check-ins of everyone who wants to chat about their daily workout. I do not, personally, want to see them combined. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Jes - sad to say that I did indeed step in it, and it was entirely my own fault. I procrastinated on cleaning it up, and was running short on time, so decided I would do it when I got back from grocery shopping. Of course, by time I got back, I had a very full bladder and had to make a mad dash for the bathroom. I'd completely forgotten about it by that time, and....splat! Right into it! It's my own fault, since I didn't clean it up when I should have. I've got another ucky story about cat puke that I'll happily relate some day when we're slow on conversation

How was the massage? Enjoy your salsa workout!
Ruth - I was feeling LG this morning, too. All-Step was a perfect antidote. I hope your stressful situation doesn't impinge on your evening (nor that it is marriage related!). Happy anniversary!!!!
Wendy - you've really kicked your workouts up a notch this week! Good for you! I'll bet those tuck jumps were much better than they felt. A mirror would actually be a good thing because you would be motivated to keep good form. That's what I found when I did KPC and BC in front of the mirror in the hotel room (and also how I learned that I've been cheating all along on the sumo squats x( )
Carole - no luck at Walmart, with respect to the gloves (or guns), but I did notice that all of the male sports equipment aisles had tons of sports-themed drink coasters available. IMO, it just isn't a sport if a drink coaster is considered necessary equipment.
Lisa - nope, it isn't just you. I find LL to be a very tough leg workout. Effective beyond belief, though!!
Have a good day, everyone!
Sandra
