HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

Good morning,

Weigh in this morning was 168.8. I can't let vacation keep wrecking my weight loss.

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY TO MY CATHE FRIENDS! :D

Joan, I sympathize. I get on track with everything, then vacation or some holiday happens. I also need to figure out how to keep these things from derailing me. Best of luck.

The weather here this week is supposed to be beautiful, so I am going to attempt to get some walking in.

Have a great day, everyone.

I worked in the garden for a couple of hours this afternoon.

Ds made lunch. It was grilled lobster with potato wrapped around it (like a curly fry) and grilled asparagus. He also made the salad dressing. Servings were not huge so calories were good. Very nice day.

Hi, Y'All!

Well, Joan, it it just you and me, kid? I am on FB, but I really like this forum. Gives me the needed encouragement to work out.

It's a beautiful day here today, so this morning I had a nice 45 minute walk, followed by the first segment of Total Body Stretching. It has been about 2 weeks since I have had any time to actually work out, so I thought the walking and stretching would be a good first workout for getting started back. Besides, yesterday was a long day, and I wanted something a little more gentle today.

I seem to always have a problem getting my workouts + everything else done, so I am going to try getting up about a half hour earlier in the mornings.

Have a great day.

I've got to figure out my wo time also. First thing in the morning I'm stiff and don't get moving too fast. I think I did the best when I called my midnight wo the wo for the next day. I had lots of time to make it up if I missed it and I usually didn't. If I finally did my wo for the day at midnight I probably would skip it. Funny how my mind works.

Well I am here too! I have been popping in but never seem to have time to say anything.

Magnolia, I am sorry for your loss. it must be hard to think about exercise when you are traveling so much. Glad your back is hanging in there though.

Joan that sounds like a fantastic lunch ds made! Where did he get the lobster? yum!

I did spinning tonight followed by TRX class DH is my workout buddy lately. I never thought he would be my workout buddy but I am not complaining. I don't have to feel guilty now!

Are you guys ordering the new wo? I think I am going to get the downloads!

Hi!!

I am in the same boat as Beth. I am leaving tomorrow to go back out to California for another week. It's just been crazy. No workouts at all for me. Just keeping my head above the craziness.

Magnolia I am so sorry.

Joan, when will life every be normal? ;)

Beth I think your workout buddy is a good one!

Hugs to all!

Oh - I did order the new workouts and the downloads. I am not sure why I ordered the downloads, just seem like the thing to do at the time.

Good Afternoon, Y'All!

Beth, I agree with Jann--I think having your dh as workout partner is the best.

Jann, I hope you have a safe trip.

I'm waiting until my birthday to pre-order the new workouts, but I'm certainly buying those!

Today, I did Body Fusion and followed it with Stability Ball Abs. Being a little more careful about what I'm eating, too. I'm considering signing up for Weight Watchers.

Have a great day, everyone!

Hi, Y'All!

Cloudy and cool here today, not good for walking. I decided to take an active rest day, so I did a ten-minute basic cardio to warm up and followed it with the first segment of Total Body Stretching. It was just right.

Tried going to bed half an hour earlier last night, and that worked great. I got a good night's sleep and really feel good today.

Have a great day, everyone.

I seem to be in my post tax season lethargy. I don't want to do anything.

I have been wearing armband and counting calories. That helps a little.

I plan on ordering wo. They should be good but I'm afraid I won't get back to doing anything.

Hi, Y'All!

Joan, just make sure to do some activity you enjoy every day. Pretty soon it'll get to be a habit.

I just finished Power Hour. What a killer!!!!!!! Sometimes we just need that challenge, though. Maybe sometime this afternoon, I'll be able to drag myself up off this couch. LOL

Have a great evening, everyone.

Hi, Y'All!

Well, last night I had a major slip-up. DH decided to get some ice cream for dessert, and of course, I caved in. I'm making something today that's more diet-friendly.

I did the step portion from Cardio & Weights this morning. The choreography for that one is tricky to me. I guess I need to do this one without the platform until I get all the moves down. I did get a good sweat anyway, though.

Have a great day, everyone.

I watched diet well from Sunday-Tuesday. Wednesday I had a killer headache. Took two advil but for some reason couldn't stop eating. I don't know if I was hungry or thought it would stop the pain. It didn't. Back on track Thursday and today. Unfortunately weight I lost in first half of week came back.

Joan

Joan, did you get enough sleep the night before? According to several articles I have read, if you don't get the right amount of sleep, your body secretes a hormone that makes you eat. If you can, just give it a try and see if it works for you.

I am having a rest day today--I'm exhausted!! I am working out 4 days during the week for now, and when I can handle that without getting so exhausted between workouts, I'll go for 5. Just got to build my strength back.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Magnolia

I haven't been getting much sleep but that's pretty normal. I am going to try and change that. I really think I was eating to get rid of the headache. Of course I didn't think of that until later.

I planned a perfect eating day today and followed it. But then dh opened an expensive bottle of wine. The only wine I like. I knew he would feel bad if I didn't have any plus I like it. Two glasses aren't too bad but it wrecked my perfect start. Tomorrow will be the next perfect start.

Magnlia I'm glad you're up to 4 days a week. my trouble is I don't like any activity.

Since I hate to do legs I may start just doing upper body. Something is better than nothing.
