I can't believe another week is over. I will soon start getting desperate.:p I still have about 70 returns to come in and 52 in house I am working on.

We went to Luke's bday party today. He will be 1 on March 30.

I know, Joan. Just seems like it's Monday morning, then suddenly it's the weekend!

I just finished Low Impact Step. I like that one. For one thing, I know it and I don't feel like a klutz doing it. Anyway, I decided this morning that I have been operating with no plan, so I am going to "phase" the South Beach Diet back in. Evidently, I like carbs way too much. :(

I lost my plan too Magnolia! I love carbs as well, unfortunately!

I got about halfway through the Terminater this morning before I started answering the phone and getting distracted. It was an "add on" anyway because I will go to TRX tonight with DH! But I did burn about 350 calories!

Carbs gotta have carbs --- right there with all of you!! :) To much birthday last week. Up a pound.. :mad:

My rotation called for intervals today. I did a walk/jog on the treadmill... I had to get my workout in early, had a 9:00am gyn appointment -- glad that's over!! :)

I had to have blood drawn this morning for some routine lab tests. After fasting and having had about 4 or 5 vials drawn, I decided to take a rest day today. Dh is off, anyway, so maybe we'll just spend some quality time together. I'll be back at it tomorrow.

Hi all! I did burn circuit 3 this morning plus 10 minutes of turbo jam. I would have done it a bit longer but the phone rang....
 
Finally got a mile of walking in today. Not much but haven't done anything in a week.

We got the hospital bed today but dm other leg hurts now. I will have to lift her legs to get her into bed and she thinks they hurt too much. I hope I can eventually elevate her legs.

Joan, it sounds as though you are getting plenty of exercise as it is. Please take care of your own health, too.

Well, I just finished Muscle Endurance Express premix (or maybe it finished me :eek:!) It's a great workout, but I have to modify some of the moves and use lighter weights. Every time I have to back off like that, it just makes me more determined to get back into shape. I gained more inspiration for working out while we were on vacation--my fil has a lot of trouble getting around and has to have a wheel chair just about all the time. It makes life for him very uncomfortable. Watching him on this last trip has given me the motivation to work out harder--I really don't want to end up that way if I can avoid it.

Magnolia, I'm with you on the motivation. My mother's weight has definitely not helped her.

I finally talked dm into trying bed. I lifted both legs at once and it did not hurt her to get into bed. We stopped water pills for a few days because all the "running" to the bathroom was just hurting leg. I'm hoping a few rest days will let her get back to walking and we can concentrate on getting swelling down.

Joan you certainly have a lot with taking care of your mom. I agree with Magnolia though, take care of yourself too.

Magnolia I went through the same thing. That's one the very reasons I push myself. If I live to be old, I want to still be living.

Rest day today. My body neeeeds it! :)

I, too, am taking a rest day today. I thought I would do a little cardio, but I think that workout yesterday did me in. :eek: I guess I have to be a little more patient about this. Back at it tomorrow, though. I'll get there! :D

I thought about only doing a 6 week CLX circuit rotation, so I did Push circuit 1 today. I may only do this a week and go back to burn circuit. I'll see. Using really heavy weights is tough right now, I don't want to pull something.

I added about 30 minutes of Cathe's intensity premix, I forgot how tough that is. So I'll be adding that in with my CLX workouts -- it's a good change from only doing Fat burn challenge etc. for months.
 
Hi, Y'All!

I did Total Body Sculpting this morning. I'm lots better today, I don't feel as if I've been hit by a bus. But then I slept very soundly last night--I was so tired.

I'm with you, Jann. It's good to throw in a different workout now and then to keep from becoming bored. Haven't tried Intensity yet, but am looking forward to it.

Magnolia Intensity has a low impact Hiit on it... that's nice when you really want to get your heart rate up, burn some calories and you are short on time. I had forgotten about it until some one asked about the premixes. :)
 
Morning!! Today is a cardio day. Checking in with intensity warmup, low hiit, bootcamp. Loved it!
