I know I'm late again.

Cathy I have the tower. I only use it for pull ups. It's good if you have the room for it.

Just finished disc 15 I didn't get legs in this week. I changed the order so if I do legs on Monday I still can get upper body on Tuesday. At least I won't be too far behind.

I thought test would tell me more about Crohn's disease but it was only to see if it would be safe to do colonoscopy. They think it's safe so that's the next step.

Good morning, Y'All!

I did Disc 1 yesterday. I have gotten so weak, I could not finish push ups! Well, this is the kind of thing that just makes me more determined to keep it up! My shoulders and chest are screaming this morning, but some aspirin should help.

Magnolia I had exactly the same response. I have lost so much strength. I really need this and can't take off for more than a week or two in the future. Hopefully we will get strength back quickly.

love, love love defined lines. it is SOOOO fun. i love hurdles, and i hate floor work and there is not very much in here. so, great w/out, added the last 15 m or so of maximum cardio. will probably just do a focus tomorrow
joan, do you have crohn's? my sister has it and it is horrible!!!!!
 
Joan - :D We didn't buy a baby :D but we did get a crib, changing dresser, and an upright dresser for Raelynn's room. DIL is so excited.

OK -- I did disc 15 over the weekend and disc 16 today. Tomorrow is cardio I have no idea right now.

Am I the only one who entered my workouts into Workout Manager?? I am scooting across America. :eek::eek:

I have tummy trouble today :(, so I think I may take a rest day today and do Disc 2 tomorrow.

No, just go to challenges from the workout manager and select Race Across America,(in the blue) your stats will show on the left side of you screen.

Ok I am getting behind again. My hands hurt....maybe from the weights?? I hate being o_d!!!! Arthritis$&@

Jann, congratulations on becoming a member of the Grandparents Club. I think it is the happiest club on earth!

I just finished Disc 2. I waited until afternoon because I knew I would be really tired when I finished. Right now I am icing my back and my shoulder before I go cook supper. Anyway, the weather for tomorrow looks wonderful and not too hot, so I am going to have a nice walk for my cardio. If the weather forecast changes, I'll find something else.

Jann thanks for telling me about walk across America. For some reason that at least got me walking more. I think they need to throw out number 1 and 2. I'm not sure I believe they went over 100,000 miles.

Disc 16 done!!! I wore gloves this time! THen I went to a spin class this evening... And then..... I ate cake!,

Joan, don't get too far behind. I'm going to do one tomorrow too.


magnolia, the other thing about working out at night is that you feet right into the day. I like doing that sometimes!

Hi, Y'All!

It was a beautiful day, not too hot, so I walked 2.5 miles (actually slightly more than that, but I was certain of the 2.5, so I left it at that). Really wanted to do 3, but I will next time. Then I came inside and did Stability Ball Abs from the Basic Step dvd and finished with the first segment of Total Body Stretching.

Actually, Beth, I like to work out better in the late afternoon. It just really seems to be my best time of the day. When I worked, I used to walk or do video workouts when I got home. It was a great release from the stress of the work day.

My neighbor is doing hcg diet. She has lost 20 pounds in 1.5 weeks. You looks really good. She was just telling me about it. My goodness.

Magnolia, I am a morning person,if I don't get my workout in before noon,it most likely will not happen. I read we all have our "good" time. Afternoon it is for you! :D

No workout for me today. I am going to the doctor today. Something is wrong and I hope he can help me figure it out. I guess we will see. I am so darn tired that I fall asleep when ever I sit down. It started a week or so ago. I can make myself do what I have to do. I just keep falling asleep when I stop. And I keep finding bruises all over me. I am not doing anything that should cause them. Always something. :(
 
Gosh Jann!! Are the bruises from hitting sosmething when you fall asleep?? I hope you are ok.

Dr. Oz endorses the HGC diet! It does work!

I did an spin class today and am going to hit disc 17 early tomorrow-

Magnolia- I really like to work out anytime of the day- its just that if I dress to work out, then find myself cleaning the house or something- it makes me feel worse than if I just postpone it till evening.

I saw the dr Oz show he did on HCG. 500 calories a day... :confused: Beth you have done it and Joan you tried it also. I have to be cleared from my endo first because of my thyroid. I see her in a few months. I'm thinking about it.

The doctor is testing me for Lyme disease, mono, and checking my blood count levels. He can't explain the bruising. Have to wait.

In the mean time, disc 18 is up today, I am going to give it a shot. :)

I just finished Disc 3, or did it finish me? :eek: Anyway, I'm sure my legs will be screaming tomorrow. I have gotten so weak that I have to modify several of the exercises and use no weights on some of them. But I really think that even if I do modify, I can get stronger and eventually do them without modifying.

I do really prefer working out about 4 pm, however, most days I have to get my workout done early because I'm just too busy otherwise. Today, I had to work out about 10 this morning because I have so much housework to do. Now I just have to find the energy to do it!
