50 and over week of Aug 28 check in

Good morning all,

I don't like to start a new week if someone has just posted on prior weeks thread. Also if I don't remember on Saturday night it is usually late Sunday before I remember.

I have never felt this way before but the last few weeks I feel old. I have to pick up the kids before 8am and take Elliot to school by 8:30. I take Luke home (15 minutes drive each way) and leave at 11:15 to pick up Elliot at school. I feed Luke and put him down for a nap. Elliot eats, we read 2 books and she is down for her nap at 1:30. If I'm lucky there is 30 minutes when they are both asleep. Dil picks them up at 4:30. Most days I am so tired I don't do anything until DH gets home at 6:30. I fix dinner and we talk for a bit. At 9 or 10pm I take from 45 min to an hour to wrap my mother's legs. Sometime during the evening I try to get some accounting work done. Not much of that has been happening lately and I am way behind.

I was doing pretty well with STS until babysitting started. I don't know when I can fit it in.

Sunday we are going to mil house. It needs to be cleaned and painted before we can put it up for sale.

I found you Joan ! Buried under all the other threads. Joan, i understand you feeling old but I'd be feeling overwhelmed and overworked! I don't care how old you are- that is a lot of care taking!! That is a crazy schedule!! You ought to have a logistics expert look at that and see what could be changed!! Take are of yourself a little!

Dear Joan, You are doing so much for everyone else. {{Joan}}. Please don't forget yourself. I know that's an old saying, but, it's so true. You have to be tired with that type of schedule. Is there a way someone else could baby sit Luke for an hour once and a while? You are caring for 3 generations!!

Hey Beth and Magnolia.

I am still not working out. I am keeping very busy. I go to yet another doctor tomorrow. I have collected some of Cathe's older vhs's I am hoping to give them a try soon. They are super basic!!
If any of you have any of cathe's older vhs's? I am trying to gather them all and put them on DVD. There is a thread out, maybe if enough of us show interest SNM will do it for us??

Jann. I have some that I ordered a couple years ago when I was trying to learn steps. I'll get back with you as I am not home at the moment. I still need to do STS 4 today. I wore myself out yesterday at the club with spin and TRX. Are you feeling alright Jann?

Good morning,

I may only be able to post before I leave to pick up kids. I sat down yesterday to post while Luke was napping, but after getting my mother's breakfast and filling her pill case and sat in front of my computer, he woke up.

We got 1 bedroom painted and that one and another bedroom cleared out of "stuff". There were so many trash bags my brother in law thought I was thowing away good stuff. I think there were 20 years worth of bank statements. I didn't bother to shred since that account was closed and no identity to steal. Lots of yellowed white things. She had kept my fil socks and ties. Everything else she had gotten rid of 14 years ago when he died. Every wall was covered with decorative things. The rooms look so much bigger.

No workout again. I have to start some fall clean up today. I really do like working outside more than anything else!!

Jann cleaning out the house makes me want to get rid of even more stuff out of mine. I haven't really bought much in the last 5 years unless I was replacing something. BUT I haven't gotten rid of the 40 years of accumulated junk.

I will be gone Saturday and Sunday. Back to Illinois to paint and clean MIL house. If someone thinks of it, please start up this weeks thread.

Good morning, Y'All!

Sorry to have been absent this week, but we have not had electricity at our house since last Sunday morning about 10:30. We took a short drive around after dark last night, and our whole subdivision is still out. Hope it will be back today!
