Hey everyone! I got in Ronne inspired MM today. DH is at the airport, so I'm filling my Sunday with bill paying (fun) but most importantly, hammock reading! Have you all seen that book 50 shades of grey? Supposed to be a top seller and a steamy book, the author was on today show last week. I think I'm getting to the steamy part so getting sucked in. Haven't had much reading in last month since I'm sleeping at night instead of reading :) DS20 and DH played handball and basketball yesterday. They had fun and got DH some much needed exercise. He enjoys that more than hiking with me :) That's it from here......I'll let you know how the book turns out.

Ohh! I want to read that book! It was out at Target the other day! Going to Costco later, maybe the will have it? I hear it is pretty steamy! Enjoy your alone time. Will do YR later. I mixed margarita with beer last night, moving a little slow right now! Hope everyone has the perfect Sunday, made bean and ham soup in crock pot, smells divine! Mary

So many good ideas this morning!

I did CSS and MM (and the crowd goes wild). Seriously, I was behind. Yesterday I did CCC (most of the ab work hard for me, I grunt and huff my way through it). I an effort to stay on top of workouts this week, I've planned out 30 minute workouts for M-Th so we'll see how it goes. Lisa, are you liking the evening after work workouts?

Good Afternoon,

Dh and I went shopping and now we are eating at Cracker Barrel. I still need to do YR and another stretch.

Lisa-sounds like a book and a relaxing way to spend the day.

Jody-you go girl, good luck with your planned workouts.

Hey there allergy sufferers, what do you take that is OTC?
My dd, 16 (and the obsessive bandaid user, still!) may have/ apparently has allergies that are currently making her miserable- couldn't sleep well due to sneezing, itchy throat and runny nose- all of which improved today with benedryl. I'll ask at pharmacy, too.
Funny, today we discovered both girls (16 and 18) weighed exactly the same and are the exact same height.

Jody, Sudafed during day, Benadryl at night, having said that, I have to be careful not to take too much, otherwise headache and or bloody nose (especially here in dry CO). What works best for me is a RX nose spray like Flonase (I know you asked for OTC).

Mary, did you find the book? I didn't get to do any hammock reading (see why later). I have it digitally if you want it that way.

So, I didn't get all the bills done...hit snag with all DH's travels. We are $2000 in debt with biz trips until we get reimbursed....reimbursement is a little more involved than last company. So now I'm getting a spreadsheet made up for DH to keep track of things more easily. I got in no reading...DS23 came over, we worked on wedding stuff....who'd have thought there would be so much for the grooms mother to do? We did practice dancing the waltz to the song I picked for our dance. He is much better dancer than his father :) Busy following up on RSVP's and the future MIL and I met up and I got to see the stuff they've been doing for the wedding. Let me say, I'm glad I had boys! I didn't go to all this trouble for my own wedding!

Oh and I got my bridal shower invite....sigh, another thing for me to do....I'm making up a book of all our family recipes for the gift. Hopefully once I can get some time, it will go quickly :)

So, just when I felt I was finally coming up for air after the job change paperwork and the bathroom, I feel I'm drowning again........

I put hold on 50 shades at my library. I'm putting an e reader or something like that on my wish list.
Lisa, sorry you didn't get to spend day in hammock but it sounded nice anyway! Thanks for allergy info. I just wondered about claritin and zyrtec, stuff i've seen advertised. Really, just standards like sudafed and benedryl? cool.
Roxie, did you get your YR in ? You almost always do. I would be be tempted to skip after a cracker barrel dinner. I'd be like pancakes for dinner then skip workout.

Jody, dh takes Zyrtec. I just limit what I take after a long spring of headaches one year then realizing that it was the allery meds causing the headaches, for me at least , less is better.

Hey everyone

Lisa - shame about the reading/hammock. That's a lot of money for your DH to shell out before getting reimbursed. It's a good thing you're on the case. To answer your question from the other day - I live in a city (central suburbs) and walk into the centre, it's a 20 min walk or I get the bus sometimes. I think Brits use 'go into town' as a kind of generic thing - it could be a small town or a city.

Jody - well, you've certainly caught up for the week with those workouts! Same plan as me this week, I know I'm going to be really pushed for time so I'm only doing 30 mins.

Roxie - any interesting shopping or just boring stuff?!

Mary - it's outrageous getting hangovers at your age :p!!!

Took Sat off as planned - got my shopping done. Bought a new eye cream and some other bits and pieces. The centre was so busy I couldn't hack it so came home early! Worked yesterday and did MMA Fusion. I've done KCM Olymipic Lifting this morning and I'm a little shaky as I'm typing!

OK, gotcha, thanks Lisa. I hadn't thought about increased side effects.
Today I'm planning on 4ds BC cardio only.
Oh and to bring up a point from last week, I *think* Mary is the only tall one among us? Everyone else is 5 foot 4 and under. Well, except Ronnie who is probably measured in cm. haha
PS, Lisa, what about dh using a dedicated credit card, one that earns you cash back and you pay off every month, for every possible work related expense?

Morning! You all have been busy here! Jody, I use Allegra, only during the day, otherwise keeps me wide awake. Never got YR in yesterday! Feeling back to myself. I need to grow up! Ronne, making me do math, this early!? Lisa, hop you get your money back soon, that would be frustrating! You will get to keep the flying miles tho, right? The wedding is coming up soon! Roxie, did you get your work out in yesterday? I didn't find that book, sold out at Costco too! Guess everyone is looking for a little passion? Murphy, you out there? I will probably do legs today, clean the house, and maybe book shopping? Mary

Wait a second, I'm 5' 4" 1/2, and a nurse told me to round up, so I"m 5' 5"!

Jody, yes he has a dedicated card now, this is from when he first started before they got around to getting him one. Most are plane tickets he had to buy in advance but he can't get reimbursed until the week after he travels. I just hate things spread all around like they are. My financial house feels as messy as my real house! I need Mary!

Ronne, that is too much math for me this early in the morning, I'll have to google a calculator. I've been watching some shows that have brits in them. Do you all have as hard a time understanding us as we do you all with the accents?

That books is VERY steamy! Read before bed and then I did wake up at 2 and read some more. Jody, if you want to read ebooks on a computer the Nook for PC app is free.

Mary, yes we will have lots of flying miles. We are a bit tired of the travel and glad the wedding week he will not have to fly. DS23 told me that it's 18 more days!

I haven't worked out yet, I'm hoping to get one in tonight after mowing. I'm not really LOVING the evening workouts, the one plus is at least I'm not running around like a mad woman in the morning trying to get it in before work.

Holy cow! I am the tallest! I feel like an amazon around you shorties! DD is all ready 5'8"! I did disc 6 from STS. Legs are tired! Ok, off to the shower!

No w/o this weekend. I had such a kink in my neck is was crazy. I was DH did something to it while I was sleeping. It felt better this morning but I was busy goofing off (relaxing) that I did not do anything. Then I felt bad for being so lazy that I made it a point to wear my pedometer so I could get some extra walking in. Does walking to the fridge count?

Mary - I missed it, how tall are you? How old is your DD that is 5' 8"?

Murphy

Good Morning,

I did not get YR in yesterday after putting everything away after shopping I started working on the baby blanket. I bought a new pair of jeans at Old Navy some jean shorts at Old Navy and at TJ Maxx I bought a pair of white dress pants and a pair of white shorts and a cute top. I got a call Saturday I won a 10 day pass and 2 personal training sessions at a new gym here in town thought it would be fun to check it out. Tonite is AT for me.

Lisa-I still haven't had a chance to look for that book. Sorry you didn't get any read time in. When DH was on expenses they weren't real fast about reembursing him so he would have to use my account did not make me happy.

Jody-I take Zyrtec everyday just the plain ones not the D.

Mary-for some reason when it comes to stretching I seem to skip those workouts.

I think my bad week continued into this week. No glass for shower today, THEY BROKE IT loading it on the truck. They found another glass that will be ready tomorrow, but I can't wait for them tomorrow. So they told me they couldn't schedule me any day but tomorrow and to call the office. First of all, how is it that they happen to have another glass with the towel bars and robe hooks on it when those where the very things that's been causing the delay? Anyway, I just couldn't deal with it, so had DH get on them for a credit --- told them I had to take off work for nothing now. We asked for $275 credit, they offered up $200, DH pushed for $275, we got $275! This was not a cheap glass....darn thing is over $2000 for it anyway.

Roxie, that's why I never schedule any yoga....I'd never do it!

Murphy, I had a bad kink in my neck last night. I was blaming the stress of the day.

AFter the glass fiasco, I decided to calm down by finally going out on the hammock during lunch and read. OOOOOH it was so nice....it's 80 today...I almost fell asleep.....

Roxie, I'll put the book in my dropbox. just FYI, around page 60 it kept going back to the first page, I had to go to like page 70 and go backward to the page to continue reading. Hope that makes sense.

Got the book! They only had 2 copies left, I will let you know! Murphy, hope you are feeling better. That is annoying! DD is 13, her twin brother is only 5'3", I hope puberty comes soon for him! Lisa, I would have been WILD! So glad you got the credit. Aren't you hiking tomorrow? When will they install it? Roxie, I was mad at myself for not doing the yoga. I want to try to do it once per week, I think it would be helpful. Jody, how was BC? Ronne, do you like the Olympic lifting? Is it boring? Well, off to vacuum, Mary

Oh Mary, you are going to LOVE the book! I'd read it right through but too many other things to do! Yes, hiking tomorrow, was worried about hitting snow on the ground since we are going up to Rocky Mountain National Park for the free entrance this week. I still wearing shorts it's that hot! They are suppose to install on Wed. YEa for DH for getting the credit! That's funny about the height differences on the twins, but since they are fraternal they could end up being quite different! Are there any short genes in the family? If not, then hopefully puberty will help (though you may regret that too for a different reason) :)

It was nice seeing both boys this weekend. I like to refer to them as thing1 and thing2 (they know nothing about that! ssssh)
