Hey, thought I'd go ahead and start us. I did disc 16 yesterday (meso2, ch/sh/tri), those back off sets were tough! Today I have DOMS everywhere it seems. I powered through KPC. I didn't WANT to do it but felt guilty with 2 days off last week. I've also slept 10 hrs each night this weekend, seems I"m worn out by the end of the week!

DH is doing ok, the complaining I'm getting right now is (I'm tired of peeing--I'm making him drink a lot to try to flush the stone out).

No kids here this weekend and I kinda miss them!

Hi Lisa! Glad to hear DH is doing better, is he straining his urine? It is amazing to see how small the stones are that cause all that trauma and pain. Glad to hear you got some sleep in, I took a nap yesterday, it was marvelous! Today I did disc 17, glad it was only 47 minutes and no, my knee came no where close to grazing the floor! Just finished cleaning the house, loads of wash. Payback for a nap! Enjoy the rest of your day. Hello to everyone else! Mary

Hi all,

Saturday was upper body work, Sunday I went jogging and Monday is power walking. It is still cold out so the jogging and power walks are quick.

Lisa - good luck to DH (and you too).

Murphy

Hey ladies! I ran 5.5 miles today in 1 hr 5 min. DH lower back where the kidneys are are still achy, hopefully the stone passes soon.

Mary, they didn't tell him to strain his urine so guess they won't test this one, maybe they wait and see if he gets more? I guess you are doing the 'flipping rower' today :)

Murphy, It's been really dry here and windy, this week a cool front and some light snow/rain. I wore a sweater to work and now I'm burning up

Waves to Ronne and Kathryn.

Hi girls! Today I did kenpo x from p90x, it was simple enough for my brain! And only 3 more days of the rower! It will be a happy day! Murphy, good for you with all the running. Lisa, 5 miles? Glad he is feeling better, is he a whiner? Mine can be! Hi to Ronne and Kathryn! The kids are on break, maybe we will go to the movies. Rango? We shall see! Have a good day! Mary

Hi everyone

Sounds like you've all been keeping up the workouts. Well done!

Mary - straining your pee?!! Eeeewww!

Lisa - glad to hear DH isn't too complaining :p

Murph - so no interference from the little ones then?!

Had a weekend of doing jobs, usual stuff. Cut the grass again, planted some new stuff. Had to get the drains unblocked today. Turns out tree roots from next door had got into the drain then all the gunk piled up around it. Looking forward to that conversation with our neighbours!! (They're fine, by the way.)
Did PLB today. Thought I'd get legs out of the way early this week!

Stones? Yikes -- I hear it's more painful than childbirth! Ouch!

Everybody got a jump on me this week already. I did Pyramid Upper (up-only premix, because I waaaayyyy overslept and had no time!). Turns out I didn't need to worry about it -- DD stayed home sick (and DS goes in later).

I did LowMax on Sunday, since I'm allowed to do low-impact only. And I did something lower body on Saturday, since I'm still sore!

Saw the new "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie with the family. It was hilarious -- really funny! They'd better keep making those movies quickly, before the kids grow up. The actor who plays Rodrick is 20! My kids love the books and have read them all... repeatedly.

Well, I've got to get back to editing (quickly curing any insomnia that I may have had). Just wanted to pop in and say "hi!"

DH complaining, weeeeeeellll, I got home and he had called the dr about nausea. He normally puts up with pain well. Then of course I'm complaining about my ailments. Had another headache (probably hormonal), finally took a migraine pill and it got better. My wrist is killing me....carpal tunnel, I've been feeling like it was getting overused. Before I left the workforce in 2006 I had a couple of years of carpal tunnel and wearing a brace, while I wasn't working, no problem with it, and now that I've been working 18 mths it's built up to being unbearable. So, I guess I'm the one complaining :)

Ronne, that tree root problem doesn't sound fun at all.

Mary, I wanna go to a movie, any movie, anything to not be at work!

Kathryn, You could do the UB stuff of STS. My tri's were killing me after my last workout. I couldn't even lift my arm over my head.

Gosh I'm feeling so old.......

I did Tracie Long, Endurance for Movement. This is a few years old and I really like. This set is the last set of Tracie's that I have really enjoyed, something has changed. I wonder if Cathe plans on doing anything new. I wonder what it would be if she did.

Ronne - I did have some intereference from my assistants but by that point I had most of the workout done. Thank goodness.

Murphy

Hi everyone

Murphy - I think that's the one Tracie Long I've got. I like that one.

Kathryn - my DD loves those books. They're one of the few things she rereads.

Lisa - that sounds like one tough tri workout!

I did a premix from Amy Bento's Kickbox Extreme today. Got interrupted to collect a delivery. I'm sure they wait until I've started!!

Hi girls! Today did the rower, TM and bike. I will catch up to Lisa tomorrow and do disc 18. We saw Rango yesterday, very different, the characters were quite ugly! Today my parents are taking them to see Wimpy Kid. My children have a better social life than I do! I used to have that Tracie Long, I never connected with it. I hope everyone has a good day! Mary

Hi everyone

Just a quickie from me as well today. I'm drowning in work! Did PUB today.

Hopefully will be feeling less stressed tomorrow!

Hi everyone, woke up with a headache, again---this is getting old. Anyway, really didn't want to work out, but I really didn't want to go into work more, so I did 4DS KB portion only.

Ronne, I hear you about the stress. There was a news article on sleep and stress and losing those last 10 lbs. I think it's a bit of both causing me not to be able to lose back to where I was before this job. Oh well, for now, this is what is meant to be. Hope you have a less stressful day!

Mary, we don't think DH has passed the stone yet. He's tired of the general achy back on left side where the stone is. I understand I'm tired of these headaches. My wrist is better, I switched to a joystick mouse (keeps wrist vertical), it's what I used years ago when this happened. I guess part of older age is learning how to cope with the limitations (for lack of a better word).

Hi Murhpy and Kathryn, what's up in your worlds?

Hi everyone! Disc 18 done! And only 1 more day of the rower, then I can tell you all what I really think of it! Ronne, hope you have your life jacket on! I really mean I hope you catch up! Lisa, does DH see the dr. again soon? Sorry about your headache, is your weather changing? Sometimes my head is a barometer! Just looked outside and it is SNOWING! what is that about? Hi to you Murphy and Kathryn! Talk to you all tomorrow. Mary

Hey everyone. I must admit, I did practically nothing, nuthin, nada this morning. Was up waaaaay early (with a slight headache), my knee has been having a general achy feeling, so I just decided to do B&G stab ball abs. And then I played on the iPad while Yoshi snuggled up to me (was in her bedroom, yes she has her own room now that the boys are gone). Not sure why this knee is so achy, normally it feels tight and then I straighten it and it pops, maybe I did something skiing because it's been since then. The headache, yes it's been blustery here (and I'm tired of that), we don't get rain or snow, it stays in the mountains as it blows from the west and skips over us since we are in the valley at the base of the mountain range. So I'm sure there's been a variance in the barametric pressure, it's just we don't necessary SEE the weather changing. Now that I've been up so early, I'm ready for a nap, think they'll notice at work? :)

Hi all, just a quick pop-in to say hello. I have not done anything today or yesterday. DD, age 3, is now refusing to go to bed. She is keeping us all up and it is ridiculous. Ugh!

Murphy

Hi girls! Whoo Hoo! Last day of that darn rowing machine! I am going to think twice before I agree to a challenge again! Also did 2 miles on the TM and the floor work from GS legs. Lisa, hope your head is better, I wonder if it is sleep related? Maybe Murphy can chime in on that! Sorry about your little one. Sometimes they get the worst ideas! Hi to Ronne and Kathryn! Have to run to Target, I just love that store! Mary

I'm going to skip w/o today again. Woke up at 2am, still awake and now it's time to get up. Pretty sad, found out that Yoshi's kidney's are failing. Vet wanted to do a kidney panel before renewing her RX for her arthritis pain meds. So my thoughts are running wild, thinking of Maddy too. Kind of irritates me in a way, we knew we would do nothing special for Yoshi to prolong her kidneys, but yet, now I know now the end is looming closer. I guess I like to be in the dark :) So been crying a lot and am not fit to be seen with swollen eyes (and probably couldn't talk without crying), so I think I'll work at home and just pamper myself (and Yoshi) today and this weekend. I know, I'm such a wuss.

Lisa, I am sorry to hear about Yoshi. I will be thinking of you. Hope that you get some sleep! No work out today, took a much needed rest day. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Mary
