HI ladies, didn't make it here yesterday, felt a little blah (tired of the neck/top to shoulder pain) and I just didn't want to be a Debbie Downer. I'm trying not to complain, I know people are tired of hearing it and don't get how/why I still hurt so trying to suck it up. Except with DH and my massage lady (she's a huge help). I saw here yesterday and she "got" my frustration. I worry that I might have permanent damage to the muscle, she encouraged me to keep on, it may take more time since it was where I felt the first pain (and always where I felt it for years), said we aren't dealing with recovering from the surgery now but just trying to get the muscle repaired now from it probably not getting nourished correctly during the 'neck episodes'. Hope that makes sense. She said it's better that I keep trying then give up because if I give up it will never be better, the key will be working it but stopping before it gets to the ouch phase which is hard since it doesn't hurt while I'm doing anything, it hurts later from over fatigue. So, I'll keep plugging along I guess, what other option do I have?
Workouts, I walked 3.25 miles yesterday with a fellow Catheter I met that's going on the DBRT, then did a 60 min Pilates reformer session. Today took dogs for 3 mile walk and then did Step Blast, 1/2 with 1 riser, 1/2 with no risers, all with t-rex arms.
Mary, I don't even know who is coming for my birthday, I know my siblings, DH and kids, but wonder based on some things I've heard that my sister is having HER FRIENDS COME. My brother thought I should celebrate but I told him I'm done with planning things, so he's planning it all (with my sister, guess that's why her friends are coming?). I "heard" you not sounding as "chipper", You'll just have to do UB stuff for me and I'll do LB stuff for you

. Think it will help our respective body parts?
Jody, I've only had 2 reformers, 1st one was a cheap aeropilates, then I upgraded a while ago to a more studio type one. So no knew reformer, just maybe you missed when I bought the better one after I knew I would use it? I've used black beans in brownies before too, but I only used them with a mix, not from scratch so not sure how much more "healthy " they were. I'm down another pound! I sure am feeling tired from all the cardio I'm doing (the only way I feel I can lose right now since weights are iffy at times).
Murphy, good to see you are getting back into it. Keep the good stories coming!
Ronne, oh how I'd love me some good rich dark chocolate! It should be a vegetable, especially for women! I have a goal with weight, I have a plan and trying real hard to stick to it.
