Hi good morning. Today is Learner legs for me. I am going to add in my rotation the SS lower body blast run 4 fun and Debbie H has been talking about. Have a great day everybody.

I have done yet the lower blast premix of SS dvd and I feel a friendly pain now.I have done yet the ankle weight floor premix of L & G (10 minutes) but I can not do LL today. The lower body blast premix(33 minutes) of the SS dvd is a treasure.You have to try it.

yes, it is the 2nd! Mariangles, great workout! are you enjoying your vacation? what else have you gotten to do in your time off, besides Cathe? i know even you can't workout 24 hours a day! seen any good movies or anything?

Well fitness godesses.....i am in awe of all of you! Great workouts yesterday! i read them last night, but i was too tired to post and i didn't do any Cathe yesterday AGAIN! so i just read this thread being proud of all of you!

But, i did get a workout yesterday!!! i took all my christmas stuff down. in 2 hrs! it took 7 to put up! amamzing isn't it? next year, when i stare getting exuberant about decorating, someone tell me to calm down and wait until after TG. i was so sick of the stuff by NYE!!!!!! Also, every year, i get on a roll and start reorganizing things, so i did it again this year. All the closets, all the drawers.....then i got the urge to rearrange our bedroom, so here's where the strength training came in }( of course, today my back is killing me. x( that's what i get for always skipping deadlifts huh?

So, today i am going to attempt to do some cardio. as soon as my KPC/LG comes next week, i can start a real rotation! i am going to do the BB one. how exciting!

I did have SJP planned but I am so stuffed up my head feels like it weighs about 30 pounds so I doubt I'll get it done.

I may go do an ab workout and lay on the couch and watch the Chicago Bears lose to the Packersx(

Jes-how exciting you will LOVE KPC/LG! Let us know when you get it.

First of all ecuse me. It is 2 of january and not 3 of January. Hi Jes. I am enjoying the vacation. not job ,not rise early, no boss and co-workers. Yuppi. today I am going to see the film the phantom of the ophera. I have seen the theatre version in Madrid and I want to see the film. I hope your back will be Ok soon. You are going to love the KPC/L &G dvd. Have a great day everybody.

Good morning all,

Today I will be doing weights (either in my garage or at the gym). Focusing on Back, chest, and butt}(

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one really trying to focus on diet. I'm trying to post a daily diet so if you guys want to join in......mine is not going to be perfect...but I figure if I post it as I do my workouts I'll be more likely to stick with it. It has really worked well with my workouts:D :D

Sandra, the cokes are definitely going to be a 'challenge' as I love them soooooo}( Sounds like your DH was a doll for helping you clean after your 'get-together';-)

Hi all!

Today I think I'm going to do the step from SJP followed by a Bryan Kest power yoga tape, which I haven't done in a while so hopefully I will be able to walk tomorrow}( :D !! By the way I am planning on following the January rotation as well!

Sandra, I am sooo glad your brunch was a success!!! I am sure the girls came away with some magical memories!! What a heck of a spread you had too, might I add, blueberry pancakes, turkey sausage, fruits, etc....YUM!...just wondering, can I stop by for brunch next new year's????? We can even work out to Cathe after the feast!! LOL!! You mentioned something about adding a bit more cardio to the rotation, can you tell me what you have in mind?

Just finished SJP. I've been living in Premix-land lately, so its been quite a while since I did the whole darn thing. Whew! It felt pretty tough and I was sweating buckets. I made myself do just a little more weight than Cathe for the lower body section and the same weight for the uppers.

Hi Sandy, yes I am doing much better but due to an appointment I have tomorrow for a mammogram and sonogram I won't be fully in the swing of exercising again til Tuesday. My middle son who did not get sick during the 1st round ended up sick on New Years' Day so we did not do anything yesterday. He even ran a low grade fever which none of the rest of us had. He is better today and we all made it to church this morning.

Thanks for asking!! I really appreciate being thought about!!:D

Hi Jes, you're doing basically what I've been doing since Thursday. All the little organizing & taking down & etc.etc.etc.:p Also, every New Year's I put myself through washing the makeup brushes, washing all the hair brushes & combs, washing the mattress pads (& turning them), straightening out the desk, the bedside tables, the dresser drawers...blah, blah, blah! Yikes!! Well anyway, it adds to the calorie burn!:+

Hey Cathy, at least you NOTICED the date...I was perfectly prepared to believe it's the 3rd today! LOL

I am having a very good workout day for me. 45 mins. on the treadmill and then PUB biceps and abs and PLB. That's as good as it ever gets for me! :D
 
Good morning ladies....or afternoon I should say! Not moving real fast! I did P90X stretch and it felt really good on my sore parts! Mostly my quads and calves. Seems to get a bit more sore as the day goes on. But so worth it..:)

Sandy...you'll love SS/PP! You should get it...and I should eventually start getting DVD's for all my VHS...I wanna play premix! And, to answer...I am a bit sore...but I have been more sore if that matters!

Ruth...thanks...:)...another organizer, maybe some will rub off on me!!

Nancy...great workout! PUB Biceps gets me every time!!!

Carole!! Great to hear that at least you aren't as sore as you expected:) Oh I love those premixes, it is definitely an investment worth making.........with those your choices are limitless and you can really customize your workouts any way you like!

Wendy, I hope you feel better soon! I have been fighting some congestion for some time and it's not funx(

Annette, I am so glad you are feeling better! Although sorry to hear your middle son ended up getting sick as well. Did his fever go down? I hate this time of year because it seems like we are constantly fighting something off! Hope you have a great week:)
 
Posting late, but sometimes I like it better late, because I get to read what's going on with everyone else!

I have to say you are all inspiring in many ways from marathon running to multiple hours worth of working out, to organizing more in a few days than I can manage in a year!

I did circuit max today. Couldn't get those kicks too high cause I'm sore from PLB.

Tomorrow is back to work after 12 days off-yikes.

Hi Sandy

Not turkey sausage - turkey sausage strata! It's an Italian breakfast casserole where you layer bread, mozzarella cheese, eggs, cooked sausage, brocolli, milk, onion, parmesan cheese, and pimientos (maybe other stuff, but I can't remember right now). You cover it, let it sit overnight, then bake for an hour at a low temp. It's magnifique!!

You would be more than welcome on my doorstep for New Years' Brunch! But I prefer to workout before the feast, so I've got a big appetite. And working out after all that eating just sounds painful :)

This week I've added the following to Cathe's suggestions:
Mon: Push Pull (I just can't do SJP without following it with PP; the two are so great together)
Tues: nothing (was going to try with weighted gloves, but can't find any to buy)
Weds: CTX All-Step cardio (30 mins)
Thurs: CW step premix (30 mins)
Fri: ME abs
Sat: CW abs
Sun: SH Chest & Back (gotta do my SH at least once a month, or I start to feel mushy)

No workout for me today; rest day! Didn't even do yoga today, as I ran out of time. Sleeping three hours extra kind of makes your day really short.
