So far I've done all of the new workouts except for LIS/Shoulders. I'm taking a day off today to just do a long walk and will do LIS Monday. LOVING the format of these w.o.s.

I was concerned about the cardio being too long/intense to have enough energy to the weight portions correctly. But, it seems to be "just right"! Also, the length is perfect for me - 1 hr is usually the max. amt of time i have to work out.

I've done all three except Kickbox! I'm about to do it right now. What did you think of it?!

So far LIS is my favorite of the new workouts. I thought I wouldn't like it because it wouldn't be intense enough but it actually was for me. The choreography is sooooo fun and the intensity is perfect. Also, the shoulder work in this one is (in my opinon) Cathe's best ever. I hope you like it as much as I do! Post what you think after you do it on Monday!!!

I really enjoyed KB - the warm up is very active, which i love- at one point cathe even comments "this is a warm up??" or something like that - it flowed and was not complicated, fun, too. Kinda short, but kept the HR up, any longet and I wouldn't have been able to the intense leg work. Great all around. The only thing missing (imo) are Firewalkers. I just love those!

I'll let you know how i like LIS.

I was rewarded on Friday when I received my DVD. I had just passed a 4-hour test and was so happy, then I got my immediate present from Cathe!

I did High Intensity Saturday. The cardio factor wasn't bad, the choreography was fun, and actually after a few tries I actually could do it. I impressed myself! Then I NEEDED more cardio so I did the cool kickbox arm combo, then I did some of the drills from Bootcamp. I was in Cathe heaven.

Sunday, I figured I would do all of Kickbox with the LEG segment which is in a great format of rounds of exercises. Low plane lunges I definitely need to work on. I could do one leg, but the other one I couldn't even lift myself off the ground  ha ha.

Sunday night/Monday a.m. - I knew from the back and leg exercises that I was going to be a-hurtin. Since I decided to increase my weights here and there (I did 45 lbs. to Cathe's 62 lbs), I've found muscles along back and obligues/core that I hadn't met before!!

So, I'll let that rest and tackle some more. All of your feedback from Low Intensity have me psyched!
