'24' - What did I miss????

I'm so mad! I totally forgot 24 was on because Everwood finally came back. I was so excited about that that I forgot to tape 24. What happened? Especially with Audrey? Is she involved in all this? Please someone, give me details.

Jack questioned Audrey. Prior, Cloe informed him that Audrey stayed at a hotel with the White House guy who hung himself (forget name). Audrey lied about how well she knew him...Walt Cummings...that's his name! Audrey convinced Jack that she wasn't involved and he wanted them to release her but the White House woman insisted on pushing her a little more so they sent in the torture guy who injects you with stuff that seems to make you unhappy. Meanwhile, Jack was able to pull more information out of the detained foreign chic. She admitted to being advised to use Audrey's name if she was arrested to mess with Jacks head. They injected Audrey with one torture shot before Jack was able to get her released. Slight romantic gag scene!

Meanwhile, the nerve gas was about to be released into a gas plant so that it would be directly pumped into peoples homes. Jack made it just as it was released so the only option was to blow the plant up so that it could not travel through the pipe lines. That is how it ended. We are supposed to be wondering if Jack made it or not. I have a hunch that he did.
 
Thanks Sarah!!! So the foreign lady used Audrey's name just to throw Jack off? She really has nothing to do with all this? Was Audrey having an affair with Walt?
 
Other side notes: there is a redhead brought up from level 1 maybe? to take over Edgar's job :( She previously had accused the annoying guy from Homeland of sexual harrassment and now he has it in for her. She saves the day by having been a chem major and gives info on how to find the exact gas distribution center that the syntox will be released from. Bill says "Nice work" and taps her on the shoulder and she says "Did you see that? That was wrong" and Cloe rolls here eyes!

Then they still are after Palmer's brother but once again Aaron saves the day (I really like him, so maybe he's the next to bite the dust!). Next week's previews look like the First Lady's secy either has something to do with it or has lots of info.
 
Yes Debbie, it appears that the foreign chic dropped Audry's name just to throw us off. Technically, Audrey wasn't having an "affair". He was married but separated at the time and she thought Jack was dead. Jack wasn't even mad...as he shouldn't have been. He asked why she broke it off after only one "romp" and she said "...because he wasn't you". She said she lied about how well she knew Walt because she was ashamed that she shagged with a trader.

I think the sexual harassment thing is pretty funny. The woman told Cloe the story and Cloe "came to her rescue" on a work related issue. Then, we learn that this woman thinks EVERYTHING is sexual harrassment! She is going to be a fun character!

I just wanted to let you know that if you go to www.fox.com/24 and click on episode guide it'll give you a minute by minute breakdown of the show. It's very detailed. I just recently became a fan. I haven't caught an episode on TV yet though. I've been renting the series from Netflix. Getting ready to start Season 4.:)
