22 YEARS OF SOBRIETY!!!!!

God Bless You and Congratulations! You are a gift to the world in so many ways and I want to thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us here.

Congratulations, Annette. As a fellow recovered alcoholic, I know that each anniversary is a reason to celebrate ... it's more important to me than my birthday!!

God Bless You....

Congrats on another year! Even though I've never been an addict, your story is a huge inspiration to me. We can do awesome things when we really try!

Congratulations! I've seen your annual sobriety post as long as you've been doing it on this forum, and have admired your ability to meet this challenge for so many years. Good for you!!

You'll get your driver's license, I'm sure of it. I got mine when my state didn't even require a road test--it was essentially a parking lot with curbs and forward parking spaces and a couple of "streets." I don't know that I would have passed a "real" road test!

CONGRATS!!!!! What a huge accomplishment. This Oct. my mom is celebrating 11 years of sobriety. You both are such an inspiration. It takes an amazing strong willed person to beat addiction and I hold you in high regard:)

Wow.

Wow.

The good vibe this forum kicks out is always amazing.

Thanks to everyone for your good wishes, and once again -

To those of you on the same journey, and to those of you who have ever loved someone with alcoholism - your responses always cause me a special pang. Not only do I have that same demon (just in abeyance one day at a time), I too have several people in my immediate family with that same demon, and some have conquered it, others have not. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Thanks again, peeps!

Love,

Annette

Many Congrats Annette!! I'm a year behind you. I won't have 22 until April! One day at a time!

Glad you are enjoying Insanity. I have it, but I'm "scared" to try it! LOL (but in my defense - suffering from Whiplash injury, nursing a muscle tear, etc. Unfortunately, I can't say my year has been uneventful. I'm glad yours was and that you made it thru another year, one day at a time!

God Bless and see you around on the boards. Enjoy your Insanity! It's better than our old life of Insanity.....huh??

Annette-

Boy, that year sure went by fast. Pat yourself on the back for being such a strong person (and I mean that in all ways as I know I sure wouldn't want to arm wrestle you). Can't wait for us to all get together again - hope it is soon.

Joanne

Congratulations A-Jock!! You continue to be such an inspiration to not only me, but as is obvious again, many others here as well!! Thank you for sharing :)

Lorajeanne! I've missed you! I kept looking for lorajc and she disappeared, but I see you only had to change your screen name when one of the many forum reformats occurred. You especially know what's what with The Bald One.

I do hope you recover from your whiplash and muscle tear, and can dive into Insanity. It feels even better than it looks, and it will be a great paveway into Shock Cardio.

Thanks for popping on by -

A-Jock

Congratulations A-jock on your anniversary! What a wonderful post! I wish you many more years of INSANE workouts!
