2011 NEW YEAR'S STS CHALLENGERS: WEEK OF 2/20!

D19 done! This one really worked me to exhaustion and gave the muscles the shakes. After doing the barbell extensions, the triceps were fried and I had to back way down on the weight for the cross body extensions.

Still up for later today - D20 to work the legs. BBL
 
Today's workout was IMAX 2. I love this one and it always gives me such a good sweat and "high" feeling at the end, lol.

Sherry- I hear ya on the shakes. I have found with Meso 2 that the CST dvds are the killer ones for me. My arms are shaking, the weight selection seems too high. For D19, the crossbody extensions I was supposed to do 12 #, I had to go down to 10 # and even then I couldn't make all the reps. I am actually looking forward to Meso 3, because I think that even though we lift heavier, we are wokring opposite muscles, and I alway sfind it easier to complete the workout that way (like in Push/Pull or 4 DS).

Wendy- so jealous you are getting the tower. I want to get it soooo bad, but I have no space for it whatsoever!!!! My house is barely 900 sq ft., lol.

LaDonna- planing on any special cardio/yoga workouts this week?

No work out to report yet but I'm gonna squeeze one in before I cook dinner...headin' in as soon as I post this! I'm not feeling the lifting today (not feeling ANYTHING quite frankly), but I think a little sweating will do me good mentally so I'm gonna pick a cardio to do. Been quite the crank today if you know what I mean. :( Hoping I can sweat it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sherry:: 2 STS discs in one day? You rock! I don't think I could do it! I lurve me the shakes! Sign of a great work out! ;)

Kristin:: My house is pretty small too but I'm gonna make the darned thing fit if it kills me! LMAO!:p

ETA:: Okay I did the warm up and kicking and punching combos from Kickmax and abs and stretch from KPC. Good enough for today!

Did it! D20 - Legs is done! We'll see if I can walk tomorrow!

Kristin - CST is doing me in the most, too. I should have been using 10# for the cross body tricep extensions, but had to drop all the way down to 5# to get in the reps. I was debating between the weight or the reps and decided that reps was the way to go. Funny though - chest and shoulders are starting to feel it, but not the triceps. Thinking tomorrow morning I should be an achy mess!

Wendy - Great job getting in your workout anyway! I did 2 workouts to try to catch up. DH thinks I'm crazy, too. I'm trying to stay on schedule and not give in to laziness, which believe me, is very easy to do.

Time to rest. See you all tomorrow.
