1st Half Marathon complete!

I just wanted to share my joy in completing my first Half Marathon yesterday in Manhattan (in 14 degrees) with my DD and her best friend!

How awesome and inspiring is that! I love watching the marathoners coming off the end of the run into the arms of their families - makes me cry, actually. All that hard work, determination, strength, commitment, and carry-through winning the day. I don't care how someone does in a marathon - they win just by showing up!
