1RM question

This is probably a dumb question, but want to know if I am approaching these workouts correctly. Should I go through the list and establish all of my 1RMs before even attempting the workouts and or is this something you do as you go?

I'm not even doing them at all. I started the DVD's this week and I'm just using lighter weights that "feel right" for me. I don't have the time to do them all and frankly don't care to. I think no matter what weights I use I'll get great results! Maybe that's dumb of me but that's my opinion. I may not get the best results possible, but I know I'll get awesome results!!
 
Though the choice is yours, we recommend taking all of your 1RM tests before starting the STS program. This will help to make sure you use the correct weight for every exercise and will also help to familiarize you with all of the workouts and what to expect.
