**12 Week Challengers, March 17, Monday**

Good morning all, what a busy weekend! Whew...and this week is looking to be just as crazy. We are interviewing for a new superintendent at our school and I'm heading it all up, so I'll be running around like crazy all week. We are also suppose to be getting a snow/rain mix (yuck x( ) which I hope turns out to be nothing so I don't have to reschedule everything.

I still have my workouts planned for the week, may not be as much because the time constraints, but I will get them in, that's for sure.

I hope everyone has a great day and week!
Marcia.

Good Morning Marcia

How did everybodies weekend go?This is week ten for me(or is it week eleven?,lol)anyhoot i will continue what i am doing until i get this weight off!

Todays workout is abbs first then gs chest and triceps, then a 30min powerwalk on the TM if my ankle allows...if it doesn't hurt i may step it up a notch with some jogging! I would really like to jog about two or three miles today-that was fun last week!

Marcia-how are your step classes going? Is it still cold in your neck of the woods?

Oh and everbody cross there fingers for me today...its the last day of school for this gal but that means...(dramatic music) FINALS :-(!

Hi Amelia - It's been around the upper 30's low 40's lately, but we are getting a snow/ice/rain mix this afternoon into tomorrow, so who knows ;-)

My classes are going really well, we are still getting huge numbers for class and having a blast. I go until the end of April because the weather gets nice and they are all outside doing something instead. I just love teaching. I'm going to get certified for Turbo Kick in May, so I will be expanding my classes hopefully more this fall.

Marcia.

Morning :)

This is my last week of my 12 week challenge.

On tap a 12mile run. Not sure on the weights but if I do do them it will be back today with Coremax later.

Happy St Patty's day everyone.

Marcia, sorry about the bad the weather...but im glad to hear your loving your classes:) and good luck with your certification in may! I hope it gets warmer for you soon!

Kath-congrats on finishing up the 12weeks,looks like there are just a few of us! Happy pattie's day to you as well!

DH the kids and I are planning a little weekend get-a-way this weekend! Its to a little area south of hear that has all kinds of great attractions, callaway gardens is near, there is a bus tour safari we plan on taking the kids too and a petting zoo! we will be leaving friday after DD's school and will return on sunday so it won't be a long vacation, but its much needed!

ok,bbl

Amelia: Enjoy your weekend *get away* :) Sounds like fun

I think we have lost a few people along the way. I like to finish things I start--even if it has a few bumps in the road. I will keep going with another running challenge for myself. I may go with 16 weeks and up my mileage. We shall see.

Enjoy your Monday everyone

Happy St. Paddy's day to all,

Just checking in quickly to say "hi" before workout this AM.

Still on the fence about what I want to do today = think I'll just go look at my DVD's and let one call out to me.

This is week 12 for me too - after checking out a few other Checkin threads, it looks like most that started here have either been checking in on multiple threads or meandered to them recently, huh?

Main point is we are trying to be accountable and keeping up the challenge of doing the best we can !

Hey there everyone. Didn't get up this morning - had a kicking 5YO join me in bed @ 3am. Will try to get another 20min on the elliptical tonight just to get back in the groove.

I would like to check in SOMEWHERE after this challenge is "officially" over (I think I'm on week 11). If this group disbands I may go over to the BFL challenge since that's what I'm planning next.

Anyway, really busy today so I've gotta scoot. TTYL!

I'm not leaving till I finish this :) That's just how I am

12miles logged. Worked the back and abs

Hope everyone has a great afternoon

Back and a bit tired. Did 4DS HIS w/C&B.

The step was a bit "hard", I could feel my chest after the blasts, but made it through and enjoyed the weightwork.

Marcia - sounds like it will definitely be a busy week for you ! But seems that you are truly motivated to get your workouts in - good deal there. May help take some of the load off to exercise with all that you have to do at work this week.

Amelia - how'd your workout go? The ankle hold up for you? Good luck on finals - what an exciting time for you ! Will you be looking for work in your field or are you a SAHM for now?

Kath - You have done so well on this challenge ! Are you following any type of running plan or training for any races?

Andrea - Hope you get your TM workout in today. You going to do the BFL workout as well as the eating plan?

Well, done with the oatmeal/PB concoction I made for my mid AM snack. Sure was hungry and this hit the spot. Time to hit the shower and try to get something accomplished today since I've been lounging lately:D

Jacque: I went to runnersworld and found a program there to log in some numbers and goals ---and they came up with a schedule for me. It has done wonders for my endurance. Thanks for asking

Kath - thanks for the website - pulled up a training program. Would really love to do a 10K but am feeling like I should get into running a little more. This should help !

Jacque, I am planning to do the BFL workout in addition to the eating plan. It's not really a whole lot different than a Cathe rotation (at least in the women's version) so I think I can adapt pretty easily. The hardest part will be to quit making excuses and JUST DO IT!!!

I've tried to incorporate some of the food plan concepts today and I've generally felt like I've had a more consistent energy level through the day. Will continue to do that for the rest of the week and see how I feel.

OK, back to work!

hey girls

Im just popping in to report my workout-I did GS C&T and PH abbs this morning then a 45min run interval one the TM in the afternoon! My ankle gave me no problems:)

Oh and Im done with school FOREVER(alteast right now:))I made a 85 on the final and an A in the class....I'll take it:7

Jacque-now that school is over im going to take a little break from being busy then in a couple of weeks I will send out my resumes:)...im doing the BFL program and i love it..don't follow the weight workout exactly but i do the meals and the HIIT. Ive lost 10lbs so far!

Kath-Quitting?...whats that???;-)

Hey to the rest of the gang:)
