Cathlete
The challange for 11/13, TUESDAY IS:

//--------------------------------------------------------------

NO JUNK FOOD. This means no candy, cookies, chips, sodas, and fried foods. Like the challenge last week, fruit is fine. Those 100-calorie packs of cookies are fine, fat free popcorn is fine.

//---------------------------------------------------------------

GOOD LUCK ! Let us know how you did and what you turned down !

Shelley,

What happens in Niagra Falls, stays in Niagra Falls!!

I'm up for Tuesday's challenge. I did have one piece of hard cinnamon candy today...but none of the chocolate kisses I've been taking from co-worker's candy dish for the last "blah..hmmph...rgh" weeks (months?). I also bought a bag of clementines for my desk and I ate two of the little guys.

Tomorrow, no candy or sweets!!!! (GULP!)

OK, count me in please!

Like Robin, I'm not making any promises. I already packed my lunch for today and am at work now. Let's just say there are some "forbidden" foods in there according to today's challenge..... ;)

ETA: I've kept up with drinking almost 100 oz of water every day since the first challenge. I'm VERY proud of that!!!

ok !! It is 8:10am and I have not had ANY junk food yet !! haha !! Now I just need to keep this up for the rest of the day !!!

Robin, yes, "nibbly" is a word. Apparently it's a game where you have to eat your way across the board -- LMAO!!!!!!!! But you eat apples so that's probably OK ;) :p

ETA that "nibbly" is not in the dictionary but I've determined that it's an adjective. Words that bear some similarity, like "nibble" or "nibbling", are verbs. I think adjectives are preferable to verbs in this instance.

How about a challenge that doesn't focus on the negative. Rather than saying "NO JUNK FOOD!" why not say "enjoy healthy foods all say long!" Doesn't that sound more doable, more uplifting, more achievable? ;-)

So, I'm off to enjoy a day of healthful eating!

Okay, my boss brought me a raisin scone fresh from the bakery this morning. It was warm. Does that count as junk, because you can bet your arse I ate it:p

Nope, Shelley. That is NOT junk. Nuh uh. No way. It's clean eating all the way. You're still on track..... ;)
