100 push up challenge Wednesday

Running behind today - slept in!! :D Sure did feel good.
Rest day as far as the push ups go. Did Cardio & Weights & low impact circuit cardio & abs only from these.
I'm thinking baout repeating week 2 for the push ups since I had such a hard time yesterday. Has anyone else done this? It'snot considered cheating is it?
 
Hi Tami! No, it's not cheating. It's making yourself BETTER! Go for it. I am considering POSSIBLY re-doing a week...will see after this week. I really struggled the last time I did my appointed day but today seemed a lil' better so maybe I was just extra tired and sore that day? Not that today was a walk in the park. It is def getting tougher as we move along. But, that being said, I am def stronger at P-U's now then when I started Sept 12th...if it takes us longer then the set plan mapped out, that is okay too. Good Luck and keep at it! Here are my numbers for today. I am week 3, Day 2, 2nd. Column:

Total today was 93! :eek: Yeeeehaw!!!!
 
Hi Tami! I'm with you. I'm going to finish Week 2 next week (which should actually be week 3) test on Saturday. So, it's sort of a *cheat* i guess, but I'm not beating myself up over it.
Yesterday was my birthday so other than walking the dog, I took it easy. Today is our 20th anniversary and I got my husband to go up to the National Park and we took a little hike with the dog. This afternoon is physical therapy for my back....which actually come to find out, isn't a back problem at all, but a pelvis imbalance. I wish I would've gone years ago! I understand so many of my injuries, aches& pains, etc. so much better now! They all make sense!
I'll check in tomorrow with my week 2, day 3 and my test over the weekend.

Sorry this such a wordy post, but I'm going to avoid the *open* forum from now on, so you all might get stuck with the occasional ramble!;)

Thanks Debbie & Becky for backing me up on re-doing a week. I think that's what I'll do.
Congratulations on your anniversary Becky. 20 years is an awesome thing!! We celebrated 15 this year. A happy marriage is a rare thing but oh so cool to have! :D

Bought myself push-up handles today (not the perfect ones shown on tv) but I'm almost excited about using them tomorrow! :eek:
 
week 3 day 2 column 1

16/14/14/12/15 not too shabby. on the last 15, #s 13, 14, and 15 were a struggle. Total of 71. Hot diggity dang!!!! Looking ahead to week 5, I'm concerned. The max in week 4 is 20, and the min in week 5 is 30. Oh, goodness me!! I may repeat week 3 or 4, we'll see how it goes.

I am still a bit puny compared to these numbers I am reading, but woo hoo for me! 4/3/2/2/4. This is week 1, day 2 for me. I've been working it for months and can finally do real ones at least :)
