100 Push Up challenge Monday

Today was day 1 for me. Not so bad. I am on the middle level doing 7- 7- 5- 4 & I was able to finish with 8. I never would have thought I could do so many toe push ups, I'm usually a knee girl.
I am doing Cathe's rotation & tomorow we are doing Step, Jump & Pump. Should I eliminate any chest work or wait & see if Im sore at all?
 
I can't wait to do this tonite! I'll post my results when I do. I think you should be ok to do chest work in your workout. Neither the circut or the pushups are a "complete" chest workout so I would think you'd be ok to do them. I may cut out any extra pushups though ;)

Just checking in with 42 push-ups done. WK 1 Day 3. This was difficult considering I just did Power Hour before this!

Hi Tami: Great Job! I would see how you feel tomorrow. I have been following what I would do normally and adding the push-ups at the end. After today....I think I will reverse this!

Yesterday was day 2 - level 2 for me. Today is off, tomorrow I am on to day 3. My chest/back/arms feel fine, but I couldn't for the life of me figure why my low abs were hurting on Saturday. Then when I did day 2 yest - yowza! on the abs. Not only am I going to be able to bust out a zillion pushups when I'm done, but maybe the baby pooch belly will finally go away. My abs are feelin' this challenge, too!

I was trying to figure that out, too. Even at level one, you are doing well over 100 by the end. I guess that means you already made it! Yay!:p:D:)
 
I think the reason you do more than 100 (with rests in between) is to work on your endurance so you can get to 100 without rests.

(I'm not sure my wrists can take 100 without rests, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!)
