MORNING LADIES! Happy Happy Hump Day.

I been away traveling on business and have not had a chance to jump on line but was happy to see that this challenge has started and I will jump on board!!! I NEED IT! I need to start sabatoging all my hard work.

B - Cheerios, non-fat milk, bannana
L- 2 hard boil eggs and fruit
D- pot roast and veg.

Got run but want to wish all good luck on clean eating today....;)

Good Morning!
No workout this morning. I got up a little late, but was still going to do as much as possible of my workout (Muscle Endurance), but I ended up doing some laundry, making lunch, and never getting around to it. The next thing I knew it was time to shower and get ready for work!:p This always seems to happen on my weight lifting days - I am a HUGE cardio junkie and I really don't enjoy weights at all. So I might get my workout in after work, but I really doubt it!!
Food intake yesterday was about the same as it was on Monday. I'm not following a specific diet - just trying to get protein at every meal and end up somewhere around 40/35/25 for the day. When I eat more protein, I find I am satisfied longer and have more energy. But I still gotta have my fruit and carbs for sweets!

Thanks to everyone who gave great suggestions on the 'sweats after meals' question!
Autumn - I've never heard of click, but it sounds like something I would really like. Are the drinks good??

This morning I did Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 15, Back and Biceps. Had a great workout! I will post my eats later. Doing good with the food.
 
Good morning everyone! I'm doing well so far - I'm down two pounds! I did have the time of month working in my favor on that one, but it's still all that much more motivation :). I did a total body tone class at the gym this morning, and am planning on a run this evening... I also planned out all of my meals and snacks (a first for me!), so I'm hoping that it will be a great day!

GM all! I am really feeling those leg presses I did last night - ouchie! It's a good feeling though. I'll be doing some cardio tonight, but not sure exactly what. I may pull out some step. Any recommendations?

Sounds like everyone is doing really good with their eating. DH is making pork ribs tonight, so tonight's dinner is going to be a disaster! :eek: I'll just try to eat really good the rest of the day to make up for it.

Taylor - Go to the main Cathenation page, and click on "Cathe Fun" at the top. That takes you to all the tickers. After you make your changes and update the ticker, then you have to go to your signature in your "User CP" page and click "Save". Then it should show the update.
 
Good morning everyone! I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday but I ate pretty well. I am following the Weight Watcher points system.

This morning I went jogging a little over 2 miles.

Today is weigh in day for me so I am hoping I see the scale go down some.

This morning I ate oatmeal with fiber one cereal mix in it and a tablespoon of flaxseed meal. Lunch will be greek yogurt and some fresh fruit. Not sure about dinner yet. I will post after my weigh in at Weight Watcher. BBL:)

I caved to a cinnamon-raison bagel this morning...:eek: Just as-is though, no cream cheese, so it could have been worse.

Starting STS M2 tonight, chest/shoulders/biceps. I just printed out the worksheet and was extremely happy to see that there are no push-ups...:cool:. Still babying my knee so no cardio for me until maybe Friday.

Hi ladies - my weight is not changing but my fat % has dropped on the scale which tells me I'm retaining water. I'm hoping I'll see a drop tomorrow. I haven't been tracking my eating but I have been eating better. Exercise is fine - ran 3 miles this morning.

Does anyone here struggle with blood sugar fluctuations - I don't get hungry as much as my BS drops and I get shaky if I don't eat regularly. It's making it very hard for me to restrict my calories. Any ideas are welcome! Worst time is between 3 and 5 pm.
 
Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful and sunny day here today and I'm determined to stay on track and not let the small slips ups get to me. Yesterday's workout was a yoga class and a 40 minute run.

Eating was on track until I got home and just had to have some pretzels, but if that's the only slip up I think overall I'm doing well. I think I need to give myself permission to adjust to healthy eating again and not expect to have a perfect clean eating day every day. Do any of your find that you can eat really well while at work but the evenings and weekends at home is what gets you? That seems to be my problem and it's never anything healthy that I'm craving, it's usually starchy carbs. Any suggestions on how to break those bad habits and avoid munching at home?

I'm joining this challenge:)

Well generally I am following WW points system. I also am substituting a couple meals for protein shakes but just for a couple weeks or at least that is the plan. I read it in some book to lose weight in the middle area.

Today I had egg whites with veggies and one ezekial bread. Plan to have those shakes today with an avocado salad later. Tomorrow I have a dinner event to attend and I know I will be eating a bigger dinner and having some wine. Alcohol with dating these days is my downfall. I usually have a couple drinks a night about 2 nights a week. I'm trying to factor that in to weight watchers...ugh...(and cut it down)

Good morning folks,

I came through my evening out without any dietary disasters. They had a pasta station with all sorts of protein and veggies to saute and add to the pasta and vodka sauce. I stuck to the protein and veggies over lettuce. It was better looking than the pasta!! More than I would eat at home, but better than the folks pounding down the apple pie next to me.:eek:

Burned 2900 calories yesterday according to the GWF. Scale moved a smidge as well.

Slept through my 5:30am workout time this am. (See what an evening out will do to a gal) So I will get something in after work. Bis Tris and Shoulders, I think, with a splash of cardio.

Hey ladies! Glad I'm not the only one who slept through cardio this morning. :D This stupid stomach bug is just exhausting me. Everything I eat just runs right through me. :(

I did get to the gym last night though for legs & chest, & will be there tonight for bis & back. Will give cardio another shot tomorrow morning. I haven't done cardio since Saturday! :eek:

Everything that ran right through me yesterday was clean eating. ;) I had a tuna & turkey bacon salad for lunch & roast chicken & broccoli for dinner.

So far so good!

Today for me was intervals using Itread outdoors and Cardio Coach. Went for 3+ miles. Wow was I exhausted. I thought Grace(itread) was crazy when she said to walk after the spirnts. I figured I could just slow down and pull back a little, but soon learned walking was best. Who would have known you could walk for the recovery and still get a great work out. Burned over 500 calories. Eating yesterday was OK, not great, but better than it has been. I'm in the middle of Meso 2 of STS and am finding that I am ravenous. I feel like a bottomless pit. I will try to stay in control again today.

Hi girls,

This moring I did CCV5 on the TC in the gym! I burned 778.8 cal. I LOVE IT:D And the best part, my weight is going down again. I lost 1.4 pounds!

Keep working hard, girls!

My worst habit is going home after work and eating everything I see and undoing everything healthy I did for the day. And I don't know why I do this, but I just grab whatever is out and start eating - usually starchy carbs too like you mentioned!
What I started to do that has really helped me is schedule a snack an hour or so before I will be home. So if I'm going straight home from work, I'll eat something around 3:00 - 3:30. If I'm going somewhere after work, then I'll make sure to have my snack a little later. I've been eating a zone perfect bar, apple and string cheese, or oatmeal and those things help me. I find that I don't have the urge to raid the entire kitchen when I walk through the door!

Good Afternoon everyone! This morning I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps and Ab Circuits Medicine Ball Abs. I usually do my weight training in the evening, but today's morning workout really made me feel awesome! I just love the Gym Style series.

My eating has been great today. Had a wonderful spinach salad for lunch. I have to go to a jewelery party tonight and I'm worried about all the snack options that will be there! The woman having the party always has an awesome spread that rivals many weddings for the amount of food available!!:) I'm going to try to eat carefully and not try to cave into peer pressure, like, "Why haven't you tried the _________?" or "Here, you've GOT to eat this cookie..." :(

Laura, I hope you feel better soon! A stomach bug is no fun...

Kudos to everyone staying on track and congrats to those of you who've already started losing!!
